I've been to maiko about 5 times over 20 years. It is still a nice resto. Interesting things on the menu, though it's lost a bit of it's upscale subtlety & purety when it comes to authentic japanese sushi. But I think they cater to their audience well. With this evolution, it would be fitting for them to offer a children's sushi menu. We'll be back:)

Probablement parmi les meilleurs Sushis de la région Montréalaise. Les Sushis sont énormes & bien garnis, la présentation impeccable. Les Sashimis sont néanmoins, une note en dessous. La place est très populaire & dans l'air du temps, bref un peu chicos & de fait des prix en conséquences.
Bonne expérience, éventuellement à refaire.

Too expensive for lunch. Sushi pieces were cut into humongous pieces so it was akward to eat. Rice was very dry. Service was good though.

An amazing dining experience from start to finish! The food was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, & full of authentic flavors. Every dish we ordered was delicious, especially the sushi & sashimi. The staff were friendly, attentive, & made us feel very welcome. The restaurant was clean, cozy, & had a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent Japanese cuisine. I'll definitely be coming back!

I've been here a few times now, & the food is always consistently good. Everything I've ordered has been fresh, well-prepared, & flavorful. Yes! it's on the pricier side, but the quality has always been worth it

The only thing that keeps this from being a 5-star experience is the service. The staff are polite but they come across as very robotic. They barely say a word to you & they'll often just walk up, pour your water, take your order, & move on without even a simple greeting or any conversation. A friendly'Hi, welcome!' or just a little warmth & personality would make such a big difference. Hospitality is about making guests feel genuinely welcomed not just completing tasks.

The food keeps me coming back, but more engaging & personable service would really elevate the overall experience.
