Grinder restaurant is located on Notre-Dame street, in the heart of Griffintown. Indeed, this neighborhood located in the southwest of Montreal is dynamic and promising; residential and commercial projects are already underway.
The original decor screams Zébulon Perron (Furco, Buvette à Simone, Philémon). He created a comfortable and warm restaurant, kitchen and raw bar. Grinder characterizes itself by vintage and modern elements such as glass and metal.
On the menu, raw & cooked items: tartares, tatakis, ceviches, carpaccios, etc. Also on the menu, steaks and grilled or braised pieces of meats, all to be shared. Grinder also offers a variety of fish and seafood, served cooked or raw as well. More than a simple steakhouse, all food lovers will find something to their liking among their selection of fresh products.
A 100% of their wine list consists of privately imported wines, always changing with the seasons, and of course focusing on wines produced while respecting nature.

We had a great dinner experience at Grinder last week. We were a party of 8 people so, it was nice to be able to get a reservation just a few days in advance. We sat by the kitchen & it was mesmerizing seeing the staff putting out so much food all night. We ordered an assortment of drinks & dishes, & everything was perfectly cooked & delicious. The staff were friendly & helpful. Even though it was a busy night the service was very good.

Bouffe très correcte, mais service très moyen. Assis au bar, directement devant ma serveuse/barmaid. J'ai passé la soirée à faire scuze moi, scuze moi pour demander pour un autre verre, commander mes plats etc. Elle avait ben du fun à boire des shots & du vin avec des amis au bar par contre. Je m'excuse de déranger, à 150$ pour mon souper... Typique griffintown. Hype 10/10, qualité du service, on repasse.... Faites vous plaisir, le foxy est juste à côté. Qualité assurée! ☺?

Restaurant sur évaluée , le filets mignon avais une belle cuisson mes aucun sauce à part , à part une genre de bouillon dans le fond du plat . Le service plutôt moyen & désorganisé , je peux dire que je retournerai pas à ce restaurant. Je vais à plusieurs restaurant & j'aurais pu me payer 2 souper pour le même prix. Le couronnement par dessus ça y te pousse à dégager tu sens la pression.

Très bonne nourriture, mais le service était désorganisé. Les plats sont arrivés avec un certain délai d'attente entre eux, nous avons dû attendre un bon moment pour avoir des couteaux à steak & une erreur a été faite sur notre commande. Je crois que le fait d'avoir divers serveurs qui s'occupent d'une même table apporte une confusion & une certaine désorganisation. Cela dit, ils se sont rattrapés & l'expérience demeure bien positive.
Service de voiturier bien apprécié vu la difficulté de s'y stationner.

I came last week & the service & food were amazing. I had the ribeye & it was perfectly done. My server Julia was attentive & made us feel extremely welcome & taken care of. Would recommend.

Super service avec Sadya, elle était excellente, nous faisant rire & mettant une ambiance incroyable, la nourriture était délicieuse, tout était vraiment parfait, on a passé une superbe soirée!

I expected something more elegant but was relieved when it turned out to be more relaxed & casual. The meat is excellent but the sides are a bit humble in proportions, especially for a steak house/restaurant.
The staff are very attentive & may I say.... all are so very attractive...eye candy everywhere.

I had a wonderful dining experience here! The food was absolutely delicious & you can really taste the effort & care put into every dish. The environment is cozy & comfortable, perfect for enjoying a nice meal. Special thanks to our waiter, Arthur, who was extremely polite, attentive, & thoughtful - he truly made our visit extra pleasant. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Mon steakhouse préféré !
La qualité de la nourriture est exceptionnelle - le steak AAA est cuit à la perfection & incroyablement savoureux. Le service est rapide, l'atmosphère est élégante & conviviale, & le personnel est attentif, professionnel & vraiment agréable.

J'ai pris un new york strip qui était cuit à la perfection. L'accompagnement était un peu petit. Les sauces pour accompagner le steak étaient très bonnes.
Le seul bémol est que la musique était très forte
