Zibo salad was amazing! I liked so much! The place is nice, good spot to watch the matches, the place gets crowded & there was only one waitress in our zone.
Checked out for dinner & got to watch the Canadians game in the dining room. The servers were really busy but still attentive. Food was delicious & I'd come back.
Went on a Saturday night during F1 weekend & Montreal Canadiens were playing (not in town). Since it was playoffs the staff put out extra tvs so you could watch the game from almost anywhere. Food was good. Service was really good & friendly. Live DJ when we went. Food wise we had calamari to start, which was great. Then had the California Chicken Burger, cheese pizza, lobster & shrimp linguine, & the sea bass. All was very good.
This was our second time going to Zibo, Great ambiance, Down to earth staff & the food was delicious, me & my Gf both took the filet mignon. Which was cooked perfectly to our liking. I would definitely recommend!

Exceptionally slow service. Didn't get drinks until 30 minutes after we sat down. Ignored for a full 20 minutes. We had reservations & were on time. Seemed understaffed on the floor. No apologies for the delays. Food was average. Would not return unless service improves.
My wife & I recently met a business colleague for dinner at Zibo on Peel Street in Griffintown, Montreal. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.
I do not enjoy giving restaurants poor reviews, especially in Canada & even more so in my hometown of Montreal. However, my recent visit to Zibo left me no choice.
Zibo is a Quebec-based restaurant chain serving Asian-California fusion cuisine.
The restaurant is attractive & includes a sidewalk patio for outdoor dining. However, it was too windy that evening for us to consider sitting outside.
We received a warm welcome, with service available in both English & French. Although we had a reservation for 6:30 PM, there were plenty of tables available. Our server was attentive, & we began with a shared plate of calamari. Unfortunately, the portion was very small & buried under bland batter. It was among the worst calamari I have had, especially at a price of Cdn. $20.00.
For my main course, I ordered the salmon with citrus salsa verde, served with quinoa & fresh vegetables. The salmon was slightly burnt on the bottom, but otherwise edible. The citrus salsa verde was acceptable, but not particularly memorable. The quinoa was served at room temperature, & the vegetables were severely undercooked. I know restaurants serve vegetables al dente, but my broccoli was positively undercooked.
My wife felt the restaurant was expensive for such a casual place. The bill for two, without any alcohol (we don't drink) was $ 150.00 for two, which was way too expensive for the quality of the food we were served.
I hope Zibo makes improvements in the kitchen, because right now, I would suggest it's not worth the visit.
Great restaurant; casual yet sophisticated. The grilled citrus Salmon was amazing! (See photo)
The service was excellent! The staff treated my friends & I very well. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
