We live in the neighbourhood but this was our first time at Zibo. What a wonderful meal we had. I had a Ceasar salad with grilled salmon & ny husband had a Burger. Presentation of the food was beautiful & the taste was even better. The woman who served us in the diningroom was helpful & cheerful. We've already made reservations to return next weekend.
Lovely restaurant! The interior is really beautiful. The service was quick & very pleasant. We ordered the California salad & the steak sandwich as well as the halloumi fries as appetizers. The halloumi fries were just exquisite! Loved the taste! The salad was delicious, very flavorful & portion was big. The sandwich came with fries. Love the bread but the sandwich itself was dry & a little average tasting. The fries were good. We had creme brûlée for dessert which was amazing. Will definitely come try other menu items.
We were there on a Monday night, & were greeted on arrival. We were seated at a booth (yay) & our server came over immediately with glasses of water. We ordered a pitcher of white sangria which was super refreshing. We each ordered pizza, & although we asked for 1/2 & 1/2, that could not be accommodated, so we eliminated our starter ceasar salads, & each ordered our own pizzas. They are rather large for 1 person, but we took the extras home. I had the Spicy Shrimp Feta (Shrimp with chili, mozzarella, feta, basil, red onion, jalapeno & kalamata olive) & my companion had FIg & Goat cheese (Mozzarella, prosciutto, fior di latte, goat cheese, caramelized onions, balsamic figs, basil & parmesan). Good choices, but again, either 1/2 & 1/2 or smaller portions would make the rating excellent.
Artichoke/kale dip & chicken dumplings were great. We had salads with chicken added. The southwest salad was OK. Service was great. We went early to avoid crowds on Saturday.
Nous sommes allés dîner dans ce restaurant assez tard 22h & nous avons été très bien accueillis. Nous avons choisi des salades, copieuses & très grandes. Les cocktails sont également variés & excellents. Ambiance Bar musical le soir, un peu trop fort pour une ambiance intimiste.

Repas du midi. Carte variée, peut convenir & répondre à plusieurs goûts & désirs différents. Toujours un excellent service. Terrasse super agréable en été. Parfait pour un repas seul, en tête à tête, en famille ou en groupe. Ils offrent un bon choix au niveau de la carte des vins, ont de bons cocktails. Un petit faible pour leurs pizzas au feu de bois...& leur choix de salades repas.
Le personnel est accueillant & attentionné, le service est efficace. Bel établissement & propre. La carte est variée & alléchante, difficile de faire un choix parmi toutes ces options : salade, burger, pizza, pâtes, steak.. Les plats servis étaient bons & avaient de bonnes portions. Durant la période estivale, une terrasse est disponible, un vrai plus pour les beaux jours...
Popped into ZIBO! during their $1 oyster promotion. We ended up ordering a dozen oysters, the ZIBO salad, penne with mushroom sauce & prosciutto, & a mule. The salad was very nice & served in a generous portion. The oysters & mule were great too, but the penne was just ok. One minor issue we did notice was with the oysters - they were very small & arrived half submerged in water as the ice bed had already partially melted.
I can't believe people would order pasta here. Pasta is Italian not some Mish mash of whatever you think people would like in it. I had a bland salad & then a not so great sirloin. Waitress was great. Food came out in a timely fashion but that pasta (chicken & sausage)just started the night badly & confirmed what I thought. We ordered this monstrosity as a joke & it didn't disappoint our suspicions.
This was a very last minute dinner but it was very good! We got 3 appetizers: calamari, warm brie & the chicken dumplings & they were all so amazing, especially the calamari. For our main meals I got the shrimp pizza, & my friends got the mac n cheese, lobster & shrimp fettucini pasta, & the Caesar salad with grilled salmon & none of us had any complaints!! Our waiter was super nice & even gave me & my friend drinks for free! The service wasn't the best though but they were about to close so we understood.
J'ai pris une salade méditerranéenne avec poulet. La salade goûtait le poisson comme si une erreur avait été commise. J'aurais dû le mentionner, je sais. Le service a été impeccable cependant.

Si cela n'avait pas été de la facture j'aurais donné 3 à 4 étoiles pour la nourriture. Mais 263$ pour 2 entrées & 3 salades + breuvages c'est indécent.
Le service c'est simplement parfait & ma salade césar avec poulet grillé a été la meilleure que j'ai jamais eu :) Le pichet de sangria ($29 pour 4 verres) c'est une option économique pour partager.
I went to Zibo Griffintown on a Friday with my spouse, after a 2-3 years hiatus. We enjoyed the atmosphere & the food was great (gluten-free sesame tuna for him & Californian salad for me). The service was extremely slow (it took +30 min to receive the food order), but we put it on the staff shortage (there was only one waiter for a big restaurant section); when we wanted to order wine, our first two choices were not available, but we were offered a decent alternative.
However, I'm giving it 5 stars because the food was amazing & we appreciated the efforts of our waiter.
