Nous avons eu la chance de découvrir Le Zibo Griffintown lors d'un vendredi particulièrement froid, ce qui a rendu l'achalandage plus calme, un véritable cadeau pour bien débuter notre soirée. Dès notre arrivée, le service a été tout simplement exceptionnel : attentionné, professionnel & chaleureux, sans jamais être envahissant.
Côté cuisine, rien à redire : une bouffe raffinée & exécutée avec soin. Mon filet mignon était cuit à la perfection, exactement comme demandé, ce qui témoigne d'une grande maîtrise en cuisine. Un gros coup de coeur également pour notre serveuse, dont les conseils judicieux & les excellentes suggestions de vins ont parfaitement complété l'expérience.
En somme, une très belle expérience gastronomique, qui nous a permis de débuter notre soirée de façon mémorable… & bien sûr, en excellente compagnie. Une adresse à retenir & à revisiter sans hésitation.
I recently dined at Zibo! in Griffintown, Montréal, with a large group that was staying at the ALT Hotel for the weekend & it was a fantastic experience! The server was exceptional, the cocktails were beautifully presented, & all the food was equally impressive. Zibo! handled our group seamlessly, & the lively atmosphere added to the fun. Highly recommend for a great meal & top-notch service!
Menu has a great variety so everyone can find something. The ambiance & the service were both great. Cool neighborhood too, worth checking out Griffintown & eating here.

I dined at Zibo Griffintown today, it was up until now our go to for good food within a walking distance. While the food offered a decent experience, the service left much to be desired. Our server was only overwhelmed & inattentive when it came to our party of two. We were there for a quick bit, our order was fairly simple (two burgers) & yet we felt like the annoyance of the evening. I was not planning on leaving a review but based on his reaction to the tip (that was way too generous for the service we were given) i had to. While the food was okay; the service overshadowed the experience. Suffice to say I will not be returning.
I had an amazing dining experience at Zibo in Griffintown, & the service was exceptional thanks to Jose. He was attentive, friendly, & made great recommendations. The ambiance was lively, & the food was perfectly cooked with delicious flavors. I'll definitely be back soon! Highly recommend asking for Jose when you visit.
Update (2024-07-09) Had to remove a star as the happy hour special was suddenly removed without notice & the only explanation was that the manager claimed "they weren't making money". Sadly , this was probably the highlight of the Griffintown area so to have this exceptional happy hour special removed zibo is just another bar in the area. The remainder of my review still holds true but it would have been much better for them to adjust the pricing but removing the cocktail special effectively reduced the options to a small handful of beers & wines. Original review : Been living in Griffintown a little while now & wanted to check out Zibo as a nice local place. I'm really pleased with the selection, service , attention to detail & overall experience.

Une excellente expérience! Nous avons passé une magnifique soirée, vendredi dernier, au Zibo Griffintown. Pour commencer, nous avons été très bien accueilli à notre arrivée. Ensuite, nous avons eu la chance d'avoir Gabriella pour nous servir. Elle était souriante & attentionnée. Notre repas était succulent. Nous avons adoré les frites de fromage halloumi & la cuisson de la bavette était excellente. Je vous conseille fortement le nouveau cocktail: le beau Ryan. Vraiment très bon & rafraîchissant ! Merci à toute l'équipe du Zibo Griffintown!

Restaurant Zibo in Griffintown is a good little spot for a bite amongst friends. The neighborhood is amazing & adds to the overall experience. The menu offers a variety of options to suit different tastes, & the atmosphere is vibrant & welcoming. It's a great place to catch up with friends over a meal, & the location makes it convenient to explore the surrounding area. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Griffintown.
So disappointed with the food at Griffintown location. I've been to Zibo Vaudreuil & had an amazing experience & amazing food. So I wanted to treat my family while we were downtown Montreal & chose Zibo. Food was sub par. Noodles stuck together & lukewarm in pasta dish lacking flavour. Salmon tartare was gritty & unflavourful. Comparing to Zibo Vaudreuil it was a fail. Our waiter was good but seemed to forget about us by end of evening. All in all would not recommend this location.

Amazing option in Griffintown, just wish they didnt discontinue their 1$ Oyster promo, thats why we always went, & we ended up drinking & eating more :)
Atmosphère générale très agréable que se soit pour en famille, entre amis ou même en groupe professionnel. Le menu est varié & de grande qualité & permet à tous les goûts de s'exprimer avec satisfaction & bonheur. Les portions servies sont à la hauteur des attentes & les prix, quoique relativement élevés se justifient. Le service est efficace & chaleureux & on repart de ZIBO Griffintown avec le sourire aux lèvres & le sentiment d'avoir passé des moments exquis.
I went to Zibo Griffintown on a Friday with my spouse, after a 2-3 years hiatus. We enjoyed the atmosphere & the food was great (gluten-free sesame tuna for him & Californian salad for me). The service was extremely slow (it took +30 min to receive the food order), but we put it on the staff shortage (there was only one waiter for a big restaurant section); when we wanted to order wine, our first two choices were not available, but we were offered a decent alternative.
However, I'm giving it 5 stars because the food was amazing & we appreciated the efforts of our waiter.
