My family was very excited to come try the restaurant & we were very disappointed.
Being seated didn't take long , but it took forever to get served. There was no acknowledgment at all. Servers were in their own world. It took 3 people to serve us. One brought the dish & potato's spilled on the table. Portion was very small especially for my wife's dish which was a Japanese omelet with porc belly. There was only 1 slice of porc. Nothing Japanese about it nor special. I ordered a scramble egg for my 22 month daughter & received a well done egg & chopped into pieces. My kid was agitated as she was hungry & food was not up to par. To add up, waitress was not paying attention & knocked her off which made it even worst. We decided to leave as my kid didn't stop crying we wanted the food to go. Wife ask for boxes & it took long as well just to receive it. She ask for bigger box as they were very small & we didn't even touch the food & was told to try & fit it. Waitress brought 2 more small boxes. Our drink wasn't touched either & waitress didn't even bother giving us a cups to go.
Overall we spent $70 & service was terrible & food was terrible. Very disappointed especially from a person who works in the restaurant business.
Filtered coffee was room temperature & tasted like bitter water. 💧
Very good breakfast, great portions. We will be back. Breakfast tacos were particularly good!! 😁
C'est un restaurant très sale, au point que le sol soit collant aux chaussures tellement c'est pas propre. Beaucoup de saleté très visible. La nourriture n'étais pas extraordinaire non plus , des aliments manquaient dans ma commande. Les serveuses étaient gentils mais je ne recommende pas...
Portions were small, they served table syrup when maple was what they advertised on the menu & the service took ages. First time I've ever not left a tip.
Overall the food was good but the service standards could be raised a lot. When we arrived, our table was only ready 15 minutes after our reservation time, & missing a seat. They didn't have clean glasses for water for us but we never got water throughout the service. The food came quickly, but the server did not come by to check if everything was okay, so our guest- who's food had already been forgotten about -ate most of her plate before the chance to tell them that it was missing something . They were understaffed this day but unfortunately couldn't hide it well.
Would recommend to the restaurant more support for the serving staff. :)
Atmosphere nice apart from dirty glasses & dishes cluttering the bar.
Trio Pancakes were flames. Good mix of flavors to satisfy a breakfast because I was on fence about a sweet or savory breakfast. The chorizo one was absolute fire & so flavorful. The salmon one was pretty good loved the ricotta. & then you can't go wrong with apples & cinnamon that was so good.
Tried a bit of my friend's three cheese crepe too which was so good as well. Vibe inside was great lots of big windows & natural light.
Rénault served us, it was a great experience, he was super nice & perfectly accommodating. Would definitely come again!
Worst dine in experience i've had. We had reserved for 6 people. When we arrived, there was no one at the'entrance' to show us to our table. We had to look around to find someone to show us where to sit.
They offered us two options of tables (they were both really dirty & they didn't bother cleaning them up before nor after our arrival) ...one was outside of the restaurant in the uqam lobby in front of the security guard & the other one was close to the entrance door next the main dine in room. Many other places were available in the main dinning room & we thought we would get one of those seeing how we had reserved...but they ended being for the walk-ins that came after us.
We ordered our food & told him we still didn't know what we wanted to drink (other than the water we had...). To eat, i got the Japanese omelet, the pork belly seemed to be some leftover piece overly reheated, it was extremely dry & hard. We wanted to order our drinks but the server never came to see us again. We had to ask for ustensiles since we had our food but no cutlery..when we ran out of water we waited a little hoping for someone to stop by our table but no one came so one of us went to them with our water jug to get it filled they said they would drop it to our table....40 minutes of wait & still no water, no waiter, no check ups & we were ready to leave..once again had to look for someone to pay our receipt (that we never even saw because he never gave us the receipt..he simply bought the payment machine with the total price)
Had the chance to see (since we were close to the dishwasher) some of the employees touching the dirty plates & used cutlery & then going to touch sliced bread with their bare hands without washing their hands in between both actions. 3 glasses that came to our table were dirty (2 water & 1 smoothie)...Seems like the is no regard towards sanitary restrictions...
