This was incredible!! We got the cookies & cream & the tiramisu. The oolong & lime tea was amazing!! Friendly staff & worth the wait to enjoy these pancakes!!
We ordered two pancakes: the Tiramisu & the Nutella one. Honestly, we were very disappointed. The pancakes tasted like plain eggs & had no flavor at all. I expected the Tiramisu one to taste like mascarpone or coffee, but it was bland. The only good thing was the melted chocolate they provide on the side. To make matters worse, the place was empty & they still took a long time to prepare & deliver our order. I wouldn't recommend it.

Beaucoup d'attente sur ce brunch. Enfin, un petit déjeuner, nous sommes arrivés à 9h 55 nous pensons pouvoir rentrer à 10h comme prévu à l'ouverture. Il pleuvait le restaurant ouvert à 10h10. Nous avons pas eu un super accueil à peine, un sourire & un bonjour à peine. On en vous a pas vraiment expliqué comment ça fonctionnait? Le staff n'était pas prêt. La mise en place avait l'air de ne pas être au point. Nous avons attendu. On nous a expliqué après avoir demandé donc on a un peu choisi à la bug. Au final nous avons pris le pancake oeuf Bénédicte quelle déception on laisse Bénédicte normalement c'est un oeuf poché là c'était un oeuf au plat. Il y avait très peu de sauce. Le pancake était trop sucré. L'avocat était pas mûre & même pas assaisonné. Nous avons pris après le krofel au saumon qui était bien, je dirais que les salades d'accompagnement à côté ne servent à rien car elles sont pas appétantes. Après nous avons quand même pris un pancake dessert de tiramisu qui était bon. Je dirais juste que cette sauce je ne sais pas à quoi sirop de chocolat industriel ne pas mettre sur le pancake. Ce n'est pas bon.
Une chose très importante, la propreté du restaurant c'était moyen quand je suis allé aux toilettes, ça a même pas été fait. C'était sale. Il y avait de l'urine par terre. Il était pourtant l'ouverture du restaurant 10h & s'il n'avait pas le ménage n'avait pas été fait dans la salle de bain. Quel dommage, il y avait des papiers par terre. Il y avait de l'urine. C'était pas propre qui avait les traînés comme ça. Il faut savoir que la première impression c'est aussi les toilettes donc c'est un peu dommage que personne ne prend les choses au sérieux
Non seulement il pleuvait ce matin. Ils n'ont pas ouvert à l'heure. On a dû attendre dehors. C'était pas accueillant. On a eu à peine un bonjour, pas un sourire
Au niveau du plat nous avons choisi le pancake. Bénédicte à l'avocat l'avocat était pas mûre immangeable, c'était pas assaisonné l'oeuf c'est la neuf au plat mais normalement l'oeuf Bénédicte c'est un oeuf poché. On avait très peu de sauce hollandaise sur le plat. La salade est insignifiante, elle n'est pas appétissante le croffle saumon était bon manquer un peu d'assaisonnement. Un détail après le dessert le pancake tiramisu était bon mais la sauce à côté pour l'accompagner c'est un mangeable. Ça se voit que c'est un flacon industriel. C'est un goût de sucre & de je ne sais quoi un de surtout pas mettre sur le pancake? Ah oui un petit détail sur le pancake Bénédicte, le pancake était trop salé donc on ne sentait ni l'avocat déjà. Il avait pas de goût aucun assaisonnement. Une chose très importante. Il me semble quand même que le personnel avant d'ouvrir doit avoir fait sa mise en place & nettoyer les toilettes car à l'ouverture ce matin déjà ils étaient en retard mais quand on est allé aux toilettes c'était pas propre, la première chose aussi. C'est quand même de checker les toilettes & de nettoyer ramasser les papiers qui traînent laver la cuvette laver par terre. Il y avait de l'urine déception
A lot of these places that make Japanese pancakes usually make them taste so egg-y; not this one. Fuwa Fuwa's pancakes taste fresh, light, & fluffier than the other ones I've tried.
We ordered the tiramisu pancakes & they were heavenly. We also tried the burnt cheesecake which was so-so. But overall it was a great place to have dessert & hang after a long day of walking in Montreal. The souffle pancakes were so good, we went there twice in 2 days before we left Montreal!
The place is cute & the tiramisu pancakes where really delicious. I would say it was on the expensive side. 20$ for a small dessert is a bit excessive. The pancake itself is special, Japanese style & extremely light & fluffy. The dessert was not too sweet which I liked. On the other hand the bathroom was disgusting. They really need to clean it. It seems like none of the staff want to do that.

I ordered the matcha tiramisu pancake & yuzu juice. The pancake was really good & authetic. The yuzu is a bit sweet but refreshing nonetheless. My only gripe is the wait time. I went to the restaurant at 8:30pm, there are only 3 tables occupied, & I had to wait 20-25 minutes for the pancake which was a bit slow.
I got an order to-go from this location & I would definitely recommend staying in to eat your pancakes if you can & the place isn't too busy. They have a nice interior with two different levels. But I will say I am impressed that they could even offer a soufflée tiramisu pancake in a take-away form!
The wait times are the way they are because things are made pretty fresh. Definitely the place to come if you want to try a soufflée style pancake. Though I will say that the cheesecakes are also very good & don't get talked about enough.

The matchu tiramisu pancake is soft & fluffy with pretty nice presentation. The mango cheesecake is just average quality & lacks of mango flavour. All cold drinks have too much ice on it. Please clean the washroom more often & find a way to get rid of those flies.i also saw customer cleanup the tables by themselves.
The Japanese Pancakes at Fuwa Fuwa are out of this world. Soft, Fluffy, freshly made & extremely flavorful.
We had Pistachio Pancake & Tiramisu Pancake. Both were excellent but personally, I like the pistachio one. It may take a while to be prepared but it's well worth the wait.
The best part is the pancakes are delivered to your table by a lovely robot.
If you're in Montreal, this is definitely a place to visit & these Japanese pancakes are a must have - Never miss.
If you are planning to go to FUWA FUWA on Ste Catherine & you are in a hurry, then don't. While the cakes look delicious, the wait time is just painfully troublesome. The lineup is huge & everything is slow & lethargic. There is absolutely no sense of urgency.
I had the Tiramisu Matcha for just over $20 & it took 39 minutes from the time I ordered.
However, if you have extra time to kill, then this might be a different story. The cakes are prepared on the spot, at least the ones that we had ordered.
The texture is indeed soft & fluffy but you end up feeling full, even though it is not rich & fatty.
It's worth a try, but there are other similar type bakeries not too far from this one, & definitely cheaper.
The hype here is that the cake looks different & once you have tried it, then you move on.
What I do not like is the published prices (or lack thereof) as I am accustomed to look at a menu (either the name or picture or both) with a price next to it. Here there is just a name & a picture with no price. I have to ask the teller who had no clue & had to look it up. This can get stressful when there are people in line after me.
Seating inside is limited & paid parking on some side roads.
Little pricey, but good quality. Tiramisu was a little heavy handed in the powder on top resulting in bitterness if you didn't remove some, but some may prefer the contrast.
Coffee was good.
Robot waiter is a gimmick that is cute but fails in utility. Stops on the wrong side of the table so you have to stand up & walk over to get your dishes.

Fuwa Fuwa's Japanese fluffy pancakes are absolutely delicious-soft, airy, & full of flavor. We really enjoyed the matcha tiramisu, & the Biscoff pancakes are probably my favorite so far. The smoked salmon croffle was also a great savory option-perfect for breakfast or lunch. The drinks were great, & the staff is super friendly. There's plenty of seating, & the interior is cute & cozy. The atmosphere is relaxing, & the music adds a nice touch. Highly recommend for a sweet (or savory) treat!
We stopped by Fuwa Fuwa & it was love at first bite! We tried the tiramisu Japanese pancake, & it was absolutely divine-light, fluffy, & full of rich, creamy flavor. Every bite just melted in our mouths. The juices were just as amazing-fresh, vibrant, & the perfect complement to the pancakes. The presentation was beautiful, & the atmosphere was bright & welcoming. It's the kind of place that makes you smile from the first sip to the last bite. Can't wait to go back & try more!
I came to Fuwa Fuwa for the first time to try their pancakes. I had the pancake tiramisu & the black mango tea. The pancakes were very good. Fluffy & not too sweet. The tea was okay. The price was a little high for the food. $26 for those two items.
Service was good. I find that everyone working there was nice & welcoming. The robot was not working when I went unfortunately.
