The Interior is close but cozy & the boundary between the kitchen & seating is very personal, we enjoyed watching the Chirashi being made & the duck breast was delicious!
Would highly recommend for a date night!

They gave us a bar seat instead of a table although I made my reservation for only two people from 3 days before. There was no option to specify a table or a bar seat at the time of reservation. When I went to the restaurant, I saw an empty table for two that stayed empty until even after the kitchen was closed. It seemed like they have saved the table for their "special customers".
Also, they were out of at least two items on the menu, including the soy sauce ice cream & the miso aged duck which I really wanted to try because I've heard many good reviews for these dishes.
Our seats was close to the entrance & we smelled cigarettes from time to time from outside which was not pleasant.
Other than the mentioned downsides, the food was tasty & it was presented professionally. But I'll probably skip this restaurant next time.
My second visit. The vegetable dishes & mochi dessert are a little meh, but all other dishes we had (chicken, both noodle dishes, duck, tataki) were really fantastic. Nice wine selection & great, relaxed youthful service. I highly recommend.

Funky & retro yet classy atmosphere. Staff were friendly, & helpful. Order tapas-style for the best experience. Food came out super quick & was delicious. Goma-shisho cocktail & the aged duck in miso are a must!
We had a brilliant meal from top to bottom - onsen egg in truffle dashi, miso-aged duck, chirashi, & special tuna tataki with yuzu chimichurri. Beautifully plated, expertly seasoned, & all served in a delightfully warm & lively atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back!
Food exceeded expectations, & very reasonably priced for the quality you get. We almost ordered 2 orders of the duck, it was so good. The small touches (aged soy sauce imported from Japan) added an extra level to the meal. Restaurant has a very energetic atmosphere, maybe not the place to go for a "quiet night out". If you want great food, & a fun place to live a little, highly recommend this place.
We had a great meal on the patio! I ordered the katsudon & my friend had the chirashi. We also ordered sides of miso grilled vegetables, duck egg in truffle dashi, & ohitashi greens to share. Everything was amazing, & reasonably priced too. The service was also outstanding. Will definitely be back again.
