The food is incredibly fresh & full of flavor, with beautifully prepared seafood dishes that taste as good as they look. The music creates a fun, lively atmosphere without being overwhelming, making the whole place feel vibrant & welcoming. The staff are warm, attentive, & genuinely friendly, which makes a huge difference. Service was fast, professional, & thoughtful from start to finish. Definitely a place I'd recommend & can't wait to visit again!
Music 10/10
Food 10/10
We were a group of 20 people, we took the 95$ menu per person (family menu) & we had 10 to go plates full as there was so much food left! Very good food, I definitely recommend
I loved my experience at Fishbone!
Food is amazing, the staff were super friendly & the music very good
Will be coming back when I'm in Montreal again!
Great food & service! We ordered the Rockefellar shrimps , 2 types of sushi: one being the spicy salmon , the tartare, & the tacos. The food is always so flavorful & im never disappointed with the music being played ! Great place to bring friends & a date as well
Restaurant excellent, la cuisine très rafinee l'entrecote était aussi tender que du beurre les starters crevettes fries très bonne, le service était au petit soins, la music était un peu trop elevee mais ça passe
I don't know why this is rated in the 3's... to me, should be at the minimum a 4.0. It is pricey, no doubt, so that may be where the lower rating is coming from, with all things considered. Service - 4.5/5 - Every waiter & waitress was so friendly & happy to serve. The only reason for a .5 star off is because the service was a little slow to initially take our orders; however, they could have been short staffed, so either way, still great service. Food - 4.5/5 - The rock n roll was AMAZING... & I JUST came back from Japan, so me saying this really means something. I'd say the price is the only downfall, in terms of its overall value. It is quite big for a sushi roll, but still. If it was $10, this would be a 5/5.. the lower rating is literally just because of the cost. Definitely order this if you are here though, you won't regret trying it. Ambiance - 4.5/5 - Great restaurant/lounge vibe, with a DJ that starts playing music later on in the night. It was really boujee & my friends & I all really enjoyed our food & time there.
This is indeed one of the golden mines of Montreal. If you're looking for the best place to have the mind blowing combo of high quality food, tasty drinks, great music & atmosphere (DJ was here as well) & best service, ask for Asia! She is amazing at her job as one plus her recommendations were so good, we didn't want to leave! 10 out of 10, now it's my favorite restaurant in here.
The food was fine but the music was so insanely loud it's impossible to enjoy your time & talk to one another. The servers can't even hear you when you call them.
I've been to fish bone more times than I am willing to admit. I've always loved it here. In previous years, I would come for the food, each dish was more exquisite than the other, & I would genuinely come for dinner as my main event. Sadly the last 2-3 times I've been, the food was really bland & disappointing :( wine options aren't too vast either. However, the service is incredible. Our waiter the last time we went was so attentive & friendly & positive, despite how busy it was. The vibes are super immaculate, it gets very loud on the weekends with the DJ & it's an overall such a fun time. The lychee martinis were so strong, we loved them! I would recommend this place for drinks & dancing, fun for even a girls night out, great music, but would skip on the food. Overall I'd definitely keep coming here :)
We went on a Friday night. There was a DJ & the music was on point (throwback 2000s). Service was friendly. We grabbed their truffle oil salmon tartare, their rock n' roll sushi & their truffle fries. The food was really good. Their cocktails are also very enjoyable (amaretto sour).
Great food. We had the steak & we were very impressed. The food was a bit expensive, but we thought it was worth it. The music gets quite loud around 10PM so if you're not into that, make sure to com early!
