Came by this restaurant on the weekend with my wife. We used to come here often when it was under its previous owners. It's gotten a bit expensive, food was somewhat bland, service however was good.

That said, I have no choice but to give the restaurant a one star rating as we've had violent food poisoning since our visit. This was the one meal we had separate from our friend group that day, & none of our friends got sick.

?The food was lovely, but the service was a bit disappointing. The waitress seemed unwelcoming, & despite the restaurant being fairly empty, I felt like my presence was a bother. Great food, but the hospitality could definitely use some improvement.

The noodles were extremely dry & hard,tastes like toothpicks. The spicy tofu is way so bland like it's illegal to put salt & spices in it. This place used to be good. SAD

Dobe & Andy was the first place we visited during our short stay in Montreal, & it certainly set the bar high.

Unfortunately, some of the meat had already sold out by the time we arrived, but the Char Siu pork was absolutely excellent. Honestly, I could have eaten it every day we were there.

Don't be put off by some of the comments about the décor or the access to the toilet. The food & service are both top-notch. The restaurant may not be the most aesthetically pleasing, but when the Char Siu pork is this good, who really cares?

I only wish we'd had the chance to eat there more often. &, having now left Montreal, I'm also kicking myself for not buying one of their T-shirts!

Highly recommended - especially for the Char Siu pork.

Amazing food for our large group! Server fit us in near closing g & took good care of us. Helped us with the menu & we had a great feast. BBQ platter was delicious & well as the fried greens. Cucumber salad was great too.

No way I could give less than 5 stars to this place (in this economy, absolutely not). Very (very) good portions & flavours. The space is ugly yes, but I didn't go there to take pics, but to feed myself. Highly recommended for groups of friends, to share the enormous portions of meat they have. Service was also friendly!

Went for lunch & got the duck chow mein. It was very good, everything tasted very fresh. The duck was cooked well & the base sauce was delicious. Good portion size, very filling.
