We were in town for a week for a swim meet & I was chaperoning a group of 11 16-17 yr olds. On the first night the kids ordered their own plates for pick up. & they loved it. It is hard to find places that can feed a growing teenager with one plate, & Dobe & Andy did it. The kids loved their Char Siu, Pork Belly & BBQ duck & wanted more.

Special shout out to Alex who helped me organize our catering order, making sure we have a variety of dishes besides the meats. Alex does such an amazing job in the authentic Cantonese barbecue, juicy, tender & flavourful. We absolutely enjoyed our meals.

Thank you Alex, & thank you Dobe & Andy.

DO NOT GO People! It's no longer the authentic Cantonese BBQ restaurant after they changed owner/chef. Big disappointment in the drop of food quality, we tried all four meats: charsiu is super fat, soy chicken has weird taste, duck comes cold & without plum sauce, & roasted pork came cold & not crispy at all!! Also much smaller portion in meat comparing to before… steam rice was okay but lowmein is overcooked & not'al dente. & the price went more expensive than Chinese bbq restaurant in New York, is it a joke?? only improvement: better attitude from non-Chinese waiter/tress, but also much slower in serving food.

Dobe & Andy is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Montreal! Every dish is packed with flavor, the portions are generous, & the service is always warm & efficient.

If you're visiting for the first time, don't miss their BBQ pork (char siu)-it's perfectly caramelized, tender, & incredibly flavorful. Their crispy roast pork has amazingly crunchy skin with juicy meat, & the roast duck is rich, succulent, & a must-order. The wonton noodle soup is another standout, featuring springy noodles, delicate wontons, & a comforting, savory broth.

Everything tastes fresh & authentic, making it easy to see why this place is always busy. Whether you're craving Cantonese barbecue or a comforting bowl of noodles, Dobe & Andy consistently delivers. Highly recommended but needs improvement with the waiting time.

Tried Dobe & Andy for the first time as I was craving some HK BBQ Meats & there aren't many places around Montreal that offer it. It satisfied the craving but definitely did not feel like it was worth the cost. I ordered 3 meats with Char Siu, Roast Pork, & Soy Chicken.

The menu says it's suppose to come with veggies & egg. The veggies was pickled daikon like you would get at a vietnamese place, & there was no egg. Did I misunderstand the menu?

For $20, it was a bit of a let down. The cuts of meat were super thin slivers, & the roast pork did not have the signature brown crispy skin.

I also ordered a HK Style Milk Tea which unfortunately was also a miss. Definitely felt like the tea was not steeped long enough & there was not enough of the evaporated milk.

Overall was a bit disappointed as I purposely made a trip out specifically to try them.

GREAT Chinese restaurant to go to for an afternoon lunch. I had duck chow mein, bok choy & a 3 meat platter of bbq pork, roasted pork & duck. We also got this amazing hot sauce that I wish I had at home.
