Dobe & Andy is widely celebrated as a premier destination in Montreal Chinatown for authentic Cantonese barbecue, with many diners praising the exceptional quality of their signature char siu, roast pork, and duck. The generous portions, flavorful scallion ginger oil, and comforting wonton noodle soup frequently stand out as highlights, making it a go-to spot for both quick lunches and large group feasts. Unassuming Chinese restaurant specialized in BBQ dishes. Tried their signature dish with BBQ duck & chaw main noodles. Very tasty. Credit card accepted.

From a Chinese person's perspective, the restaurant is disappointing given the overall ratings. Limited menu, long wait for food (although they may have forgotten about our order & comped us an iced tea). Didn't mind the atmosphere as it would be what's expected in Chinatown.

The wonton noodles weren't great. The chow mein was fried a bit too much & noodles were used were too thin to be fried so much. The best part of the meal was the iced lemon tea.

This time around, we actually sat & took the time to dine.

Their noodles is something else & this time it was different.

Located inside a building, not hard to find. I'm usually in for these type of food for the price & quality. This place, the quality was not there. Ordered the roasted pork/BBQ pork combo. Roasted pork had more fat than meat, the skin was chewy. BBQ pork is usually moist but it was on the dry side, sauce should've been added but zero was added. Young Chow Fried Rice was the only decent part of the experience.

Our waitress was incredible. Despite us being a little late on our reservation, she was extremely warm towards our group & super enthusiastic. She saw that we were foodies & wanted to taste everything so she took the time to strategize how we would go about our order to maximize the amount of items we could taste.

The food was delicious. We got the 4 meat platter, shrimp & duck fried rice, chilli wonton noodles, duck chow main, veg of the day & soup. Everything was delicious.

I highly recommend this place & serious kudos to our waitress for being such a rockstar & providing authentically warm & enthusiastic service to our table.

Cute spot with nice staff, but have noticed a sharp decrease in the food quality the past couple months. Ordered soy chow mein that was just soy sauce, noodles, bean sprouts, no onion, half the noodles were white & was overal bland. My favourite dish, Singapore noodles often come with no seasoning, no curry powder, just wet over cooked rice noodles with veg, pork & overcooked shrimp. Shame cause the staff & drinks are so great. The meats are good but are often more fat than meat
