Afficher toutcoffee(315) cafe(270) beautiful(133) building(89) architecture(88) bank(87) drink(65) latte(62) recommend(48) seating(46) vibe(43) croissant(41)The place is beautiful but the drinks are not so great. I got the pistachio latte & it tasted very artificial. Just come here for vibes. Would come back to do work or hang out though.
The location is beautiful, but from what I tried the drinks & baked goods are not very good. It was also quite expensive compared to other cafés in the city. I would recommend popping my head in to check out the building, however I wouldn't stay for food or drinks.
Great atmosphere. We went at the right time, around 2pm & it wasn't overly crowded. Long lines & no seats an hour later. The drinks were good, pastries good though a little overpriced. The interior is spectacular. I was talking pictures with my phone & camera. After an hour someone told me that it isn't aloud to take pictures with camera, only with phone.
drinks were good, food can be better (the croissant was salty?) & even though the interior is nice, there were so many flies when we came in
This review is for coworking. I am sure it is a good cafe. But I would not recommend this place if you're looking to work as a serious professional. First, it is quite loud - because it's really one big open building, like the old school banks. Second, you are not allowed to bring your own food & drink despite paying for the day pass. If you're a remote worker, this will be very bizarre to you. Forget grabbing lunch or ice cream at a nearby place & bringing it in. Third, as you can only eat their own food, you have to keep in mind that this place is mainly a popular cafe with some coworking thrown in. You will stand in line behind 20 tourists in order to buy food or drink. Note, there is no free water or tea like every coworking space on the planet provides. Lastly, it is too crowded outside the office area. You have to walk through the crowd in order to use the bathroom, get a drink, etc. I just don't see what the point is of the coworking facility.
Really cool architecture, & good location. Croissants were very good & drinks were good as well. Seemed a bit hyped up for what it was. It's a nice cafe in an interesting old bank but it lacks the charm of some smaller cafes. Overall a very good experience though.
I was so disappointed!! For years I have heard people raving about this place but it's really not up to the hype. As an architecture student, I was very excited to see the interior & I will say that it's worth to go inside just to take a look. However, it seems like it's mostly a place for people to take a break from the heat in the summer rather than have a coffee. The place was absolutely full, there was no place to sit but no one was even drinking anything. It seemed more like they were loitering. It was also very silent, the atmosphere would have been so much better with some light music. The coffee was very expensive. For one maple iced latte with almond milk, it cost me 10$before tip. The size was very close to a size grande at Starbucks. It was definitely not worth that price. Would go back in to see the architecture but won't buy anything next time!
Beautiful cafe with a nice vibe, highly recommend if you want something more chic & borderline 1920s. Very busy & crowded tho, & closes pretty early! Overall the drinks were good.
Beautiful architecture, atmosphere, amazing service, & delicious food & drinks. Lemonade Cold Brew was the favorite
Certainly! Here's a five-star review for Crew Collective & Café: --- **Five Stars** Crew Collective & Café is an absolute gem in the heart of the city. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with stunning architecture & an ambiance that perfectly blends historic charm with modern elegance. The vaulted ceilings & ornate details create a unique atmosphere that's both inspiring & comfortable. The coffee here is top-notch, brewed to perfection by skilled baristas who clearly take pride in their craft. Whether you're in the mood for a classic espresso or a creative latte, the drink menu has something for everyone. Their pastries & light bites are equally impressive, making it a great spot for a quick snack or a leisurely brunch. What truly sets Crew Collective & Café apart, though, is the exceptional service. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, & ready to help with a smile. Whether you're here for a casual coffee, a business meeting, or just to soak in the atmosphere, you'll feel welcomed & well taken care of. In short, Crew Collective & Café is a must-visit destination for coffee lovers, architecture enthusiasts, & anyone looking for a fantastic café experience. I can't recommend it highly enough! ---
Crew Collective & Café's disappointing drinks are further overshadowed by its inconvenient booking system, additional fees for side booths, & overcrowded atmosphere. Cold Brew: Harsh & acidic, lacking the smooth, mellow flavor expected from a good cold brew, & filled with too much ice. Matcha Lemonade: A total rip-off-overly sweet with an artificial taste, barely noticeable matcha flavor, & lots of ice diluting the drink. The requirement to book side booths & pay additional fees adds unnecessary hassle to the experience, compounded by the over-crowded ambiance. Overall, these drinks are not worth the price, wait, or added inconvenience of an overcrowded environment. Better options are available elsewhere.
This is a beautiful space to come & drink coffee or to work. & the coffee & pastries are very good. Marianne the barista is so helpful & always smiley :) The others could follow her lead. It does get super busy, though.
A must go for any tourist visiting Montreal, very beautiful architecture & ambiance. However, it's just that. Drinks are a bit overpriced, there's always a long line, half the seating is reserved for paying members, etc. Staff is friendly & still a great place to stop by, but nothing extraordinary.
It is amazing place if you like historical places as it was the RBC bank & it really looks very luxury. Regarding the food & drinks it was quite expensive with medium quality. The service was ok but not that great too. I ordered cafe latte with lavender it came very sweet & cold really cold, & when I asked the waitress to warm it for me & make it less sweet she said that she can't warm it but can add some coffee or milk which turn it worse. The smoked salmon also looks good but under expectations in taste.
This place is so gorgeous irl❤️ Food & drinks did ended up being quite expensive but we do think everything tasted great!
Beaaaautiful place yes but the quality of the drinks is not consistent. Just now, I paid $7 including tip for this thing they call it latte. The milk foam is not of good latte. So sad.
Beautiful environment such a gorgeous ceiling, a real work of art. I ordered a cappuccino to stay I gave them a 4 star as they ran out of china cups so I received it in a paper cup to drink on site. I would go back again & try it was quite busy, to save time order on line it was a bit of a wait.
The location is nice Huge With high artistic ceiling The caffe closed really soon & they have just one meal & drink .
This would be a cafe I say one should visit simply for how beautiful it is inside. The atmosphere is picture worthy & ambient. The drinks & pastry's like the desserts were quite decent as well. It can get busy in here but it is a wonderful place to enjoy some coffee quietly & enjoy the view
