Me: "Dude that's for Hank, which is me." The dude: "What? I'm Hank." Me: "no way dude. Out of all the cities in Canada we met dans une ville francophone. Are you for real?" Hank: "Yeah. I specifically named myself Hank to avoid this kind of situation in Montreal." The Hanks hugged it out after like brothers they never had with tears in their eyes . Montreal is truly a city of love. But yeah. I freaking love crew collective. It is perhaps one of my all time favourite cafes in the entire Canada. The building is breathtaking, & the coffee was nice. Its a must-visit whenever you're in town.
Great place & coffee but crowded & chance you find a place to sit is minimal
Great coffee (no drip), pastries & drinks (London fog had rosemary - nice addition). No drip/filter coffee Been here 2 times on holidays. Waits tend to be very long even in the afternoon but almost worth it during cold winters. Bring your own friends to hang out - this feels almost like an airport (bring your own chairs too) Pro tip: you can snap some pics & go without the wait
The interior architecture of the place is superb for a café. The coffee was tooo strong for the cappuccino we ordered. I suggest coming early as it was much calmer. Overall, worth the visit!
Historic building I think that is why many people visit the coffee shop. We stopped by to grab a quick brunch & coffee. There are limited seats (mostly sofa), & you will have to share with others which I did not find ok. Plus, it was hard to find a seat & most people stay for long with their laptop. It was a bit loud so it was hard to talk to each other in my opinion. The service was nice & fast. However, we didnt find the bakery worth it.
It's a nice coffee shop in a beautiful building. It's all about building. It's quite busy & very limited space. I saw seats in the back but we weren't allowed in. I don't know why they close off the back section. Lots of students study there so don't expect them to leave anytime soon. The coffee was good but the pastries were nothing special.
The most beautiful cafe I've ever seen. It's bit too busy but the seats are very comfy & the coffee was great.
Very busy place! I had to fight for a chair tbh but it was totally worth it!! This is a must-try if you are in the city! Coffee was surprisingly good
One of a kind coffee shop with a very interesting concept of bridging clients & designers!
This coffee shop is absolutely beautiful. However, the coffee is on the pricey side, likely due to the prime location. If you don't mind paying a bit more for a beautiful setting, it's worth a visit.
I haven't been to this kind of Coffee house ever in my life. Ambience 10/10.🔥
Have been here twice in 2 capacities in the last 6 months. First time I was in town on business & we rented one of the meeting rooms for our team to collaborate in. I was skeptical about the noise level inside the bubble but had no problem. Bonus was at lunch, we ordered at the counter & they brought it to our room So we could continue to work. Recently came with some friends for breakfast & had time to marvel at the beauty of the building after enjoying delicious croissants & coffee. Definitely a stop for any reason.
A very good cafe in an extremely cool former bank. The coffee was excellent. The baked goods were great, & the salmon Bagel is probably the best I've ever had
Coffee & latte are good but it's mostly about the good ambiance in a historical building.
Honestly, just came here for the hype & the beautiful interior: High ceiling, warm lighting, lots of seating. I was surprised with that beyond their great coffee, the almond croissant & pan au chocolat were great too!
What a beautiful spot. They have good food & coffee. Orange juice was fresh. Visited again after many years. Good coffee & juice. Also good pastry selection.
Inside a former bank makes for a unique setting to have good quality coffee. As a result there was a long line of mostly those looking to experience the space, so a lot taking pictures & passing through. A lot of seating, but was mostly filled, so probably not the most relaxing setting to sit & enjoy. If passing through worth it for the coffee quality.
Highly recommend to come for coffee & chill! Self service on seating, so you can choose wherever you wanna sit! Even the almond croissant was outstanding!
Absolutely love Crew Café! The space is breathtaking, it's in this gorgeous old bank with high ceilings & marble everywhere, which makes it feel super grand. Perfect spot if you're looking to get some work done or just hang out with friends. The coffee is great, & they have some tasty pastries too, though it's a bit pricey (probably because of the beautiful setting). Overall, definitely worth a visit if you're in Montreal & want a unique café experience!
