If you are a tourist you must come here, read about the history of this place which was the royal bank of canada building, & enjoy the architecture inside, now the cafe has casual seatings & it is always crowded weekdays & weekends but with patience you will eventually secure a place. They also have office rooms with different sizes that you can reserve for a fee, perfect for meetings & presentations. Their coffee is great & pastry too Service is good but expect a line up The only con is that they close early as 4 pm But overall will always be special no matter how many time Ive visited it!
Un endroit a visiter, c'est grandiose, bien plus qu'un simple café.
This cafe in an old bank allows you to explore what can happen when a cafe goes into a bank. They have conference rooms right behind the teller areas where servers can hand over their coffees. It's a beautiful setting.
This would be a cafe I say one should visit simply for how beautiful it is inside. The atmosphere is picture worthy & ambient. The drinks & pastry's like the desserts were quite decent as well. It can get busy in here but it is a wonderful place to enjoy some coffee quietly & enjoy the view
🇬🇧 If you are looking for a good & simple snack in a historic place, look no further, this little café is for you. ❤️ Pros: The coffee is good, the decor is original from the 1800s, the chairs are comfortable, the service is fast. 💔 Cons: Always a lot of people, finding a place is difficult, the price is quite expensive, they close at 16:00 (very early).
The coffees & the café itself were perfect, however the baristas gave off super cold vibes & would just almost throw the tray I put there to get my stuff... the trays were also not cleaned properly. The cashier & others were nice though. We also got the veggie focaccia sandwich which was great!
This spot has such an incredible atmosphere! It's a historic building that used to be a bank, with the teller counter & boxes converted into study rooms & offices similar to a WeWork. You do need to join to have access to the bigger spaces, but it's a great environment to enjoy or get some work done with other options for seating available to guests of the cafe.
Crew Collective & Cafe is one of the coolest cafes I've been to. It's so big & open because it used to be a bank. As you walk into it it feels like you're going into a central station the ceilings are super high making the place feel massive. The staff is cool & tentative. There is a bunch of seating from couches, private booths as well as counter tops. A great place to study for sure.
Beautiful Co-working space or a place to just hang out with friends. The cafe located in the old port of Montréal, is a perfect stop for a good coffee & scenic views. I ordered the pulled pork grilled cheese & the London Fog Latte. Everything was super tasty. The washroom however needs tending. I did not expect such a difference between the cafe decor & the washroom. Needs new colours & a makeover at this point LOL! But still highly recommended & would visit again.
Dropped by the cafe during my recent holiday trip to Montreal. Expect long waits from line ups & getting your order. The ambiance was great! You can definitely see traces of the old bank which gives the cafe its unique identity. I got the iced matcha & chai tea, & dark choco cookie which I found delicious & different.
I had a fantastic time at Crew Collective & Café! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the beautiful architecture & aesthetic decor. The spacious seating area made it perfect for enjoying our food. The private study rooms for 15$/h were a great addition. I absolutely loved the Oat & Lavender Latte - it's easily a 3.5/5 for me. My brother enjoyed the refreshing Matcha Lemonade, also a solid 5/5! The Sugar Scone was delicious, although slightly dry, earning a 3/5. The Brownies were decent but not too exciting, a 2/5 from me. Overall, I'd rate the experience 4/5 & highly recommend this cafe to anyone visiting Montreal. The staff were incredibly kind & friendly. The prices were a little much - we spent a total of 28$ (taxes included) for two drinks & two pastries. Keep in mind, there might be a wait during rush hours. We waited about 15-20 minutes, but it's definitely worth it. Can't wait to visit again soon!
10-15min wait to order, another 25-30 min to get 1 cappuccino around 11am on a weekday. Will not come back. There are other better cafes with better coffees around Montreal.
Good cafe from converted bank hall that's used to be Royal Bank of Canada old building. Very neat architecture & good place to meet or to work.
Beautiful venue in a great location. Terrible service. Be advised that they have suddenly changed their policies & do not allow dogs, even if they are quiet & very well behaved. (We heard they were previously allowed).
There is no sign indicating they do not allow dogs. In fact it says the cafe is open to the public & the wait staff loved our dogs & told us they were welcome.
But then the security guard came & kicked us out in a public manner without explanation, which was very unpleasant.
As a result we did not eat here & would probably not return.
