Colin, the proprietor dubs it,'the little village café in the big city.' I agree. It's just around the corner & the service is quick & friendly. They serve the perfect cortado to go. All shots are double, so no need to specify.

Nestled into a cozy corner old Montreal location, this split level cafe caters to tourists & locals alike with kindness, care to detail, & with grace. Food is fresh & the beans can also be purchased by the bad.
If you order an iced cafe latte, you will pleased to see what patience they take to create this refreshing & energy boosting beverage. It's like alcohol mixology & they even use a shaker to chill the espresso down creating a smooth frothy'crema'. All I can say is go.

You must visit this exceptional place. If you are staying in the Old Port area, make it your own: It's several blocks up from the Clocktower Quai. You will feel like family, &--more soon--revel in the deliciousness. If you're not staying nearby, it's worth special trips. The pastries & sandwiches are out of this world--lavender scone, the best ever. Super high-quality condiments, drink mixes, & sweeteners are available. The ambiance is perfectly old-world charming.
