Our waitress zineb was very polite,kind,& friendly towards our group. The food was very tasty & I very much enjoyed the chicken wings they're are so delicious & I absolutely love them. Overall our experience was delightful & once again I thank our waitress for her kindness & patience.

This restaurant is very large, well decorated & the murals are fun. When we walked in though, no one came to seat us & another couple for more than 5 minutes even though the place was practically empty.
When we went to order the server seemed as though he had no familiarity with the menu & once we got our food it was good but my chicken was overcooked. Overall, it was an okay experience.

November 30, 2024 - Very BAD experience! We will never go back there again. A CRUDE welcome: As we arrived, we were told that we must leave the place at eight pm. At the time of booking none of this had been mentioned otherwise we would never accept tp eat in such a place where customers are so rudely treated. The food ? What about it? The beef inside my meal suspiciously tasted like chicken liver (which I hate)- Well, I prefer to think that it was chicken liver & not something else. I could not eat that although the portion was small , as small as my guest's meal. The dessert was supposed to be a crispy crust filled with ice cream. The crust was frozen (cold & not crispy at all). The ice cream tasted NOTHING & this is not because it was cold & could have frozen my tongue. NO! . It tasted like a bad quality ice cream, that's it! The sangria blanca was certainly 95% water judging by its taste. What about the service? The waitress was smiling but always hasty to go elsewhere, sometimes missing what we were asking her- Probably too many tables to serve for one person. However two busboys were really eager to remove my guest's plate although he did not finished. Don't try to have a conversation with your guest. It is REALLY too noisy. We NEVER experienced so MANY BAD things in the same restaurant! & guess what? The restaurant was far from being full. So what's the point asking us to leave at eight under the pretext of allowing new guests (ghost guests?) to have a table? Note that we wanted to leave a feedback on their app'OpenTable'. Surprisingly, our two stars rating was preventing us from writing a review (which would obviously be bad since we put only two stars) & only good reviews (probably very old ones) could be seen. You may wonder why two stars rating? We were just sorry for the poor waitress who certainly tried to do her best but how could she? The two stars are for her, EXCLUSIVELY.

We have been here several times, usually for dinner. The enchiladas are great, authentic, & full of taste, have tried them all but our favourite is the tomatillo green sauce. The fajitas were pretty good, but after a round of nachos it was a bit too much for only 2 people. Nachos were ok in taste, good size for sharing. The burrito bowl was good but the chicken cobb salad was not well balanced. I have never ordered their dessert, but have ordered some of their drinks, the sangrias are very good & light. The music was a bit too loud for our liking so hence the 3 stars on atmosphere

I hadn't been to Carlos & Pepe's in possibly a decade! Went with a friend on a Thursday night. The restaurant was not busy & the service was quick. The decor was charming, the food was very tasty, however, I was disappointed with the price. I had the combo fajita which included three shrimp & three average slices of chicken over a pile of onions & peppers & we shared a fry. The meal cost me just shy of $45 & I only had a glass of water to drink (no bottled water, no alcohol, no coffee, no dessert). Even with the rise in prices, this is insane. I found pricing quite steep. For this reason, I will not be returning.

Carlos & Pepes was a restaurant my wife suggested so we went for lunch. Once we arrived, there was no wait & we were seated instantly. Service was acceptable but nothing out of the ordinary. We ordered Chicken Quesadillas & Chicken Fajitas, both very good & enjoyable. The setting is amazing; you feel that you are on vacation down south with all those colors. The decor is attractive even the door bathrooms have an interesting design. Recommended for the food & the setting.

My boyfriend is an amateur of mexican food so we figured a nice change from 3amigos would be nice.

As we walk in the restaurant the guy at the front desk does not great us he takes the menus & starts walking towards the table. Right then I figured uhoh not very welcoming…

I had the mango chicken with rice the chicken was very poor in taste & the rice was very thick & did was fresh.

My boyfriend had chicken tacos his rice was as bad as mine. The salad was not fresh either, the chicken was not marinated either so no taste !! The hot sauce was not much of a hot sauce...He didn't eat his plate either…

Then I ask the waiter for the bill he does not even realize that we both did not eat our meals..
Our plates were full kind of hard to miss…
Does not even ask if everything was to our liking…he honestly did not seem to care..
So we ended with a 30$ bill for food we did not eat & a very mediocre service…

To top it off when we left the same man that escorted us to our table was busy on his phone did not even acknowledge that we were leaving did not look up to wish us a good night nothing… What ever he was looking at on his phone was way more important that greeting customers the right way…

HORRIBLE customer service & tasteless food to top it off !!
At least the decor was nice !!
