Carlos & Pepe's in Laval has become one of my favorite go-to spots for dinner with friends on a whim. The atmosphere is always fun & welcoming, & the service is usually super friendly & attentive. Their drinks are really nice, perfect to start off the night, & the food portions are generous. I especially love the beef nachos-they're loaded, tasty, & perfect for sharing. Always a great experience here, whether it's a casual night out or just craving some good Tex-Mex.

This place used to be better, mixed drinks used to be the main attraction, not any more.
Food is average, servers need to get watched they play with your bill, please double check before you pay. Moe's Laval was famous for ripping off customers with manipulated bills before the closed.
Watch your bills & don't order high end booze unless you are seated at the bar. The may serve you inferior product & charge you for the high end stuff.

Restaurant impeccable, la bouffe est excellente, les drinks wow & notre serveur (2025-05-03 à 13h00) & le meilleur. Toujours un bon service.

We have been here several times, usually for dinner. The enchiladas are great, authentic, & full of taste, have tried them all but our favourite is the tomatillo green sauce. The fajitas were pretty good, but after a round of nachos it was a bit too much for only 2 people. Nachos were ok in taste, good size for sharing. The burrito bowl was good but the chicken cobb salad was not well balanced. I have never ordered their dessert, but have ordered some of their drinks, the sangrias are very good & light. The music was a bit too loud for our liking so hence the 3 stars on atmosphere

I don't get the wall of doors, but it is kinda cool. Everyone seems friendly & helpful. We drive from Vermont because we haven't found any place as good here. The food is delicious & the drinks are well balanced. If there was one missed opportunity, it was that if the server had asked me if I'd like another drink when I was 50-75% empty I would have ordered another drink. Nonetheless, we love the place & it is a regular stop when we hit the area.

I guess it's an excellent place to have drinks & appetizers. Wasn't thrilled by the main dish. I had the fajitas, there was 5 times the amount of oignons to the meat.

The food was good but not exceptional. Calamari is not a big portion of you're looking to share with more than one person as an appetizer. The drinks are huge but not sure how much alcool there's in there. I was in good company so everything else was great.

Came here twice during a recent visit to Laval. Very happy both times. Drinks were tasty, the food was also delicious & came out quickly. Service was great fast.

Understaff would be the themes here. No one could be seen from the front entrance. At first we stood there for a while Until a couple said they went in side to find someone. Sat on the terrace, with my daughter, super nice server asked for our drink orders.. "Two waters please, beer & an ice tea" I said. Got one water, waited 10 minutes for the 2nd water & beer. No ice tea till I got the food & asked again. Food Was bland, rice was way over cooled ( like it sat under a heat lamp too long)no seasonings on the side( salt peeper, hot sauce ) not even complementary chips & salsa as you wait.

Great spot to have a drink on the terrace & enjoy some munchies, the staff are very welcoming & the service is good.

The food,the drinks,the waiters ... Where it's situated A+++++ I mean i couldn't ask for better... It's light but yet filling you up kind of food.mthe cocktails are very delicious.I never had a bad experience there.

Ambiance plate Nourriture froide Service trop long. TROP CHER pour la qualité & quantité . On avait 2hr pour commander & avaler notre bouffe pcq ils ont oublié de nous aviser lors de la réservation donc même pas la carte de dessert & café / drinks

We decided to go here for a spontaneous dinner, for our 12 years wedding anniversary. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time, the food was great, served promptly, lots of flavor & copious amounts. Our server David was great, just enough present to be helpful & let us eat in peace. (I don't like waiters that hover & ask every 2 minutes if everything ok...) It was a pretty busy night, but we were served quickly & all the dishes we chose were prepared perfectly & to our liking. My kids LOVED their cheeseburgers, while hubby & I enjoyed the few appetizers & the mac n cheese. Our drinks were great too! Overall, would definitely be back & would definitely recommend this restaurant 👌🏻 😋

I hadn't been to Carlos & Pepe's in possibly a decade! Went with a friend on a Thursday night. The restaurant was not busy & the service was quick. The decor was charming, the food was very tasty, however, I was disappointed with the price. I had the combo fajita which included three shrimp & three average slices of chicken over a pile of onions & peppers & we shared a fry. The meal cost me just shy of $45 & I only had a glass of water to drink (no bottled water, no alcohol, no coffee, no dessert). Even with the rise in prices, this is insane. I found pricing quite steep. For this reason, I will not be returning.

Un bon restaurant pour les amateurs de nourriture mexicaine & la décoration était très original (la murale, le mur fait en portes & les carabines en guise de poignées de portes pour les salles de bain. Les drinks étaient délicieux & le poulet bien tendre & savoureux. Un bon service rapide & efficace. Ils servent aussi de la Labatt 50 ce qui est un big win pour moi haha.

Carlos est un resto/bar sportif bien situe au Centropolis, clientele de tout age, bonne musique, bons plats, bons drinks, il y a du babyfoot, une machine d'arcade & des jeux disponibles, plusieurs ecrans tele. C'est aussi plaisant en famille avec des enfants autant qu'entres amis & collegues. J'aime y aller regulierement, car il y a beaucoup d'ambiance surtout lorsqu'il y a des fetes/anniversaires, c'est tres plaisant. Allez faire un tour!
