We've been to Carlos & Pepe's Laval quite a few times & usually enjoy it, but unfortunately this visit was disappointing. We were a large group celebrating a birthday, & the food was not as good as usual.

I ordered three different kinds of tacos to try, but they were cold & soggy. The meat seemed like it had been prepared in advance & reheated, or had simply been sitting for a while. The fajitas, however, were quite good, & the cocktails were great.

The service was excellent. William was very friendly & attentive & really made a difference. Hopefully this was just an off night, as we've had much better experiences here before.

Staff is so sweet & friendly! We got seated quickly. They are not rude at all & they took care of us during our whole night. It was amazing. The restaurant is spacious & the atmosphere in general feels great. Lots of decorations especially on the walls. Service was so fast. I ordered a chicken bowl. It came with rice, corn, pico de gallo, tortilla chips & lettuce. Their portion is so generous. I was having a hard time trying to finish my food. Drinks were delicious. If you are looking for a Mexican night with delicious food & very affordable prices, consider trying Carlos & Pepe's.

Never in our lives were we so disappointed. We ordered 4 fahitas steak & chicken & we received nothing but 95% onions & 3 thin slices of steak not even fit enough to feed a hamster. HORRIBLE!! If you're hungry for onions, this is the best place. $34 for onions. Honestly after Covid, this restaurant is no longer the same. Cheap stingy meat portions. LAST TIME we ever will set foot there. 💥💥💥💥

Ce vendredi, il aura fallu 3h pour manger. Service excessivement long. Est-ce une stratégie pour qu'on prenne plus de consommation d'alcool?
La nourriture est bonne mais il y a beaucoup moins de variétés qu'autrefois dans l'assiette. Les sièges sont très inconfortables. Aucun rembourrage, 3 h à attendre sur ces sièges de bois dur & j'étais complètement ankylosée quand je me suis levée. La salle des toilettes aurait besoin de réparation, un robinet était hors d'usage & il n'y avait plus de papier depuis longtemps à mon avis. Il va se passer bien des lunes avant que je retourne à cet endroit. Le serveur était sympa toutefois, c'est pas sa faute s'il manque de staff dans les cuisines.
