Pls don't even bother to go, it's an insult to Mexican food this place… tortilla soup taste horrible, tacos are beyond disgusting. They don't even have salsa. They put a purple think as a salad next to the tacos.

Great food really good menu with more than just traditional mexican food some fun & different alternatives friendly professional staff carlos & pepe's is always a good time
Not Authentic mexican food. No es comida autentica, y las especies que usan no son Mexicanas. Pedí las fajitas steak y las especies le quitan el sabor a la carne.
I recently visited Carlos & Pepe's & had an amazing experience. The Mexican food was absolutely fantastic & bursting with authentic flavors. Each dish, from the appetizers to the main courses, was a delightful taste of Latin cuisine. The vibrant atmosphere & great vibes added to the overall enjoyment, making it a perfect spot for a fun, lively dining experience. I highly recommend Carlos & Pepe's for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Mexican food in a lively, Latin-inspired setting.
WOW WOW WOW. This is by far my absolutely favorite restaurant of all time. I absolutely love Mexican food & this place makes the best of it! Great service, friendly staff & of course, great food. If you're looking for a tasty Mexican restaurant in laval, this is it.

The food was meh at best, the ship tacos we got were way too salty. & the guacamole was under-seasoned & more like a store bought puree. The "classic" margaritas were too sweet & just okay. As someone from the south west I wouldn't even say this was tex-mex & certainly not mexican. Our server was okay. But she took a while to come see us once we had been seated.
Beau resto Propre, jolie deco & original. Tres bon service, merci a David notre serveur. Plat de Nacho est super ! Portion genereuse. Mexican flag tres bon choix. Poulet BBQ tendre. Vraiment tres bon choix de resto !
The service was great, the decor is nice but we were near the door & kept getting a freezing draft. My spicy margarita was also very good! Unfortunately, the fish tacos were extremely disappointing as was the side of Mexican rice. Very little flavour, fish seemed under cooked in the middle & there was way too much cabbage without any sauce for balance. Will not be returning. I also do not feel well today & wonder if it was the fish, I stopped eating it mid way

Had the fajitas & Nachos plates, both were mediocre.
the fajitas combo (21$), comes with three shrimp & three pieces of beef. The shrimp tails should have been removed & the beef should be cut into smaller piece to make your fajitas, the sauce & cheese provided were in puny portions (1 once), it was hard to get more than 2 fajitas.
Even the nachos all dressed plate was blah.
Service was just okay, no effort whatsoever, no one seemed to enjoy working there.
Overall, this place is not great , would not recommend.

My boyfriend is an amateur of mexican food so we figured a nice change from 3amigos would be nice.
As we walk in the restaurant the guy at the front desk does not great us he takes the menus & starts walking towards the table. Right then I figured uhoh not very welcoming…
I had the mango chicken with rice the chicken was very poor in taste & the rice was very thick & did was fresh.
My boyfriend had chicken tacos his rice was as bad as mine. The salad was not fresh either, the chicken was not marinated either so no taste !! The hot sauce was not much of a hot sauce...He didn't eat his plate either…
Then I ask the waiter for the bill he does not even realize that we both did not eat our meals..
Our plates were full kind of hard to miss…
Does not even ask if everything was to our liking…he honestly did not seem to care..
So we ended with a 30$ bill for food we did not eat & a very mediocre service…
To top it off when we left the same man that escorted us to our table was busy on his phone did not even acknowledge that we were leaving did not look up to wish us a good night nothing… What ever he was looking at on his phone was way more important that greeting customers the right way…
Very disappointed
HORRIBLE customer service & tasteless food to top it off !!
