L'attente dépasse souvent les 30-40 minutes commande comprise mais il vaut le coup! Le brunch est délicieux, les pancakes sont vraiment incroyable & le cadre est plutôt sympa. Les tables dehors ne sont pas très agréables mais il y a quelques tables à l'intérieur qui sont en hauteur & un peu mieux pour manger. Probablement un des meilleurs brunch de Montréal !View more

Friendly staff but slow service, took like half an hour just for a sandwich. Website doesn't have the menu. Fried chicken sandwich was tasteless. My friend's halloumi toast was delicious. Iced latte was good. Cold brew was typical. Backless stools & low tables don't make this place particularly ergonomic. Music was good though.View more

Les pancakes étaient tout simplement SUCCULENTS. Tout était très très bon. Le lieu n'est néanmoins pas très bien aménagé pour manger sur place, il y a très peu d'espaces où s'installer & par conséquent beaucoup d'attente.View more

Simply: Great food. Breakfast sandwich & grilled halloumi toast are incredible. Good pancakes too. Seating's a bit restricted & lines are long but for good reason - incredibly worth it every time. Line moves pretty fast & they're v efficient with the demands so even if it looks long, it moves fast & so worth it at the end!View more

The best iced latte in Montreal! September Surf is a very cool cafe in a cute neighbourhood. The food & coffee is excellent, the prices are really good too! I also love the classic breakfast sandwich, pancakes & avocado toast. I haven't tried other things but I have heard everything non the menu is delicious. I visit a few times a week & the quality is always there. However, often (especially on weekends), you can be waiting over an hour outside in line. In the summer it gets quite hot as there aren't many trees near by. The staff works really hard trying to get ppl through & they have a good system set up but it still takes FOREVER & can be very overstimulating/ loud. Perhaps an order ahead system could help fast track some orders? Either way it's such a minor issue compared to the quality I still frequent September.View more

One of my favorite cafes in montreal! The avocado toast is a must - I especially appreciate the touch of pumpkin seeds! I've visited this cafe a few times & everything is always on point. The pancakes are incredibly fluffy & the scones are perfectly crisp & sweet! The matcha & cappuccinos are so good. The bone broth is also perfect during winter - the fresh ginger & turmeric are so flavorful. The cafe is always packed but the line always moves relatively quickly & the service is super friendly!View more

This is my second time to visit. The first time I just stepped into the restaurant & left immediately because the place was too hot & too crowded. This time, I wanted to give it a try because a friend insisted that I should try it. The food & coffee are good. It's a self-service cafe - you have to line up to order, then you have to pick up your coffee & fill your own water. You'll have to look for a table & set yourself up. The plates will be served on the table, but the tables are uncomfortable. The only quiet place is the backyard, which smells like fish. I don't think I will come again.View more

This café is one of the best spots for a quick breakfast sandwich, pancakes, & cookies. Their fresh orange juice is far superior to the bottled variety. While there's a long queue on weekends, it only attests to the café's popularity & demand, & it's well worth the wait. A must-visit!View more

Stumbled upon this place because we just wanted to grab some bites & coffee & apple maps showed this was the closest one. Upon arrival, it was busy & there was a line that went out along the side walk. The line goes fast though so if you want to try this place, definitely do. Ordered the fried chicken sandwich & had fries. Multiple seating areas & a small back patio area. 2 Bathroom available Food was good & variety of options on the menu. Service was great. Been wanting to go here forever, & it did not disappoint! it is busy all days of the week at all times so it may be difficult finding seating! I got the avocado toast, there was an odd combination of tastes when it came to the spicy spices & the sweetness of the avocado,the favorite was so Tasty. My white flat was very good!
