I was just going to settle for a regular coffee but the employee who took my order said he wanted to make sure I liked my drink & recommended the Remix - a mix of hot & cold. I wouldn't normally have cold coffee in January but figured why not. I took my order to go, & I'm so glad I got it! The espresso flavour was great & the drink had the right amount of sweetness. Because it was so cold outside, I think it kept the drink at a nice consistency & it maintained a smooth texture. Thanks for the recommendation!
Always the best service. David is unbeatable. The precision to his espresso is exquisite. Kyle & Nick always kill it on the weekends & night time. Be sure to also catch Julien. He'll always make you feel like you are the most important. I love Olimpico!
It's a very busy location but service is very fast. I ordered the affogato & it was delicious. The espresso has a very smooth, soft flavour. Paired well with pistachio ice cream. Tiramisu is also very good! My friend ordered an almond croissant. Crispy layers with custard cream inside (I think it's custard?) love it! Reasonable price at a DT cafe shop too!
Oh my! The enjoyment we got from visiting this café is hard to describe. It was on my wishlist, & I expected a great experience, but I had no idea the coffee would be this good. We ordered the latte freddo & pistachio affogato, & tiramisu-all of which were absolutely delicious. The latte freddo had a perfect balance of bitterness & sweetness, & the affogato was a delightful mix of espresso & gelato.

If you are a coffee lover like I am, get the cortado if it's cold out there, if not, get the Café Freddo with an extra shot of espresso. It's out of this world. The guy attending is also amazing.
I wish I would have asked the name of this amazing passionated barista here. Hands down the most professional I have even came across my life. How lucky I am that on my first day of my first time visit to the beautiful city of Montreal, I happened to find this place at the right time with this gentleman & have the chance of having a great shot of espresso & a shot conversation. Can't wait to get back here again.

I am a coffee snob. I have had coffee/espresso all over Italy, France, Spain, Colombia, Turkey, etc. We even did a coffee tour in Colombia, Armenia region, where the finest beans are grown. I have not had coffee/espresso as amazing as I had at Olimpico. The espresso OMG! It is smooth, silky, with the right amount of crema. I wish I lived next door to Olimpico. Absolutely amazing!

We waited for around 30 minutes, with the line extending to the Le Cartel shop next door, but it was totally worth it.
popular spot! but they're super efficient. all their locations have really good espresso & fun staff, I tried their vanilla affogato it was a good treat ☕️ They were able to make it decaf for me! The gelato texture was not very impressive unfortunately, it was quite icy in some spots, but I still really enjoyed the flavo
The lines may be long, but the quality is well worth it! Café Olimpico is a quaint cafe located in the lovely neighborhood of Old Port (there are different locations but this is where I went). My partner & I got the Cafe Latte & the Latte Fredo. The Fredo is an Iced Latte (the ice chips were unexpected but the drink was delicious nonetheless). You can taste the actual flavor of the espresso used, & it was great! I rather preferred the Cafe Latte over the Fredo. If you are a flavored latte lover, just know they do not offer flavored lattes. Go instead for the experience, the aesthetic, & the quality! You won't be disappointed!
Best Americano coffee in Montréal, for my tastes 😋 update: Writing with a double espresso at @olympico_cafe served up by Shiloh & Yann, that take a freshly ground coffee bean & explode it in your mouth.
Very friendly owner! He told us that the gelato is imported directly from Italy. Would recommend the affogato if you want to balance out the gelato with the bitter espresso.
My absolute favourite cafe in old Montreal! The espresso is so creamy & flavourful, the service is spot on, & the guy behind the counter (I should have asked for your name!!) is an absolute master at the art of maintaining a nice balance between exceptional customer service & making the best cappuccinos!
