Depuis 1982, l’équipe de la Brûlerie offre une expérience café qui se démarque.
La Brûlerie offre maintenant une grande variété de cafés en vrac. Les cafés de spécialité sont torréfiés dans notre petit four artisanal, maximisant ainsi le développement des arômes, des saveurs et bien sûr, la fraîcheur du produit.
Les membres de l’équipe de la Brûlerie suivent un programme de formation continue afin de maintenir un niveau de connaissance élevé dans ce domaine complexe.
Overall, Brûlerie FARO is described as a strong downtown coffee destination where quality and consistency stand out, with a wide selection of beans and a menu that goes beyond coffee to include sandwiches, pastries and salads. Reviews consistently praise rich, flavorful coffee, including espresso drinks, pour overs, mochas and cortados, and note a friendly, efficient staff and a welcoming atmosphere that suits study or casual visits. Many say they return or plan to, valuing both the coffee and sustainability efforts like compostable packaging and bag reuse discounts. They invested in the space at the expense of the coffee. I used to go frequently & always thiught they served a good decent cup. Now, they changed the coffee machine & it just tastes like the average starbucks latte you'd get anywhere else. If you love coffee, i would'nt put this in an itinerary.
Cool, modern & cozy cafe. Medium sized with just enough seating. I spent a few hours here working & found it to be a comfortable place to work. Got a bit noisy after 5pm. Service from the staff was great. Made me a great latte.
no joke, one of the few cafés in montreal that make good coffee. I always take iced latte with caramel syrup. first of all, the price is slightly lower than in other places, so definitely a big plus!. second, latte does not taste watery, but has good coffee flavour, even after some time. third, they always put a lot of syrup, & it tastes soooo yummy, I am transported to heaven. definitely recommend 🧚?♀?
I visited back in January & still think about this place fondly. They serve a very tasty mocha & matcha latte. The only downside was the limited seating - since many people come here to be productive, it can be hard to find a spot, especially during the winter months.
Meilleur café à Montréal à mon avis! J'y vais au moins une fois par semaine entre 2 cours d'université, & à chaque fois je me régale de leur latte. C'est aussi à Faro que je me procure mes graines de café pour chez moi! On a un rabais de 50% sur nos grains si on ramène le même sac. En plus, tous leurs emballages & tasses à emporter sont compostables. Super endroit, vraiment 🫶 :)

Perfect place for coffee. Its my go to place as i love the latte here. They have some amazing bakery items as well . My favorite is scones. They just have perfect lattes & mochas. The place is usually packed in the evenings but a quiet place to study or work or just have a cup of coffee & relax. The baristas are also great & welcoming. Reasonable prices.
Great tasting lattee & barista making our drinks was super friendly ! Poured it perfectly without spilling it over & gave herself a bow which was rightfully deserved haha. Look forward to returning.
I would consider myself a loyal fan of café faro until today. i went to pick up a chai latte since it's my usual however there was an odd smell like urine. i compared the smell from the drink & the lid & the smell was coming from the lid. it took me a moment to realized there was yellow stains from it & that's where the horrible smell was coming from. i genuinely felt sick to my stomach & i don't feel like going back there anymore which is upsetting since it was really my fav cafe :(
Love love love this coffee place! Best vibes, service & baristas! Lattes are great & literally no one beats their mokka! The croissant & chocolatine are a must try!

I love this cafe that one of the absolutely best. have warm atmosphere & helpful service, The latte is incredibly out of this world,every pastry I've tried has been tasty & delectable.many people like sit here to work or study,so there are chances you show up & have no room to sit.I love here,having a cup of latte & listening the music for relaxing.
I asked for a chai latte & I was excited to break my Ramadan fast with it & the guy just gave me hot milk & since i broke fast after closing time I couldn't even get a refund or a new drink :( usually it's good doe
One of the absolute best coffee shops in the city! The latte is incredibly out of this world & worth every penny! Every pastry I've tried has been tasty & delicious. I love sitting here but the only downside is, it's slightly small so there are chances you show up & have no room to sit. Its a very popular spot, highly recommend!
