Brigade is a casual custom made neapolitan pizzeria. Pizza made by hand following the art of neapolitan pizza and cooked in our wood oven at 900 degree F.
Brigade Pizzeria receives broad praise for authentic wood fired pizza with both Neapolitan style crusts and Detroit style options, and for a warm, inviting atmosphere and attentive staff; the dough and sauce are repeatedly highlighted as flavorful and well made, toppings are generous, and portions feel fair for the price. A few visits mention hiccups such as a Barbara pizza arriving soupy, pizza served cold, and occasional service or cleanliness issues like missing paper towels in the washroom. Overall, the reviews converge on a strong pizza focused experience with a lively vibe that makes it easy to return or recommend to friends, though occasional glitches mean some guests leave with mixed feelings.
Ordered a pizza for takeout online. Upon arrival I am told they didn't have the dough & my pizza wasn't made. "we usually call when this happens but we're busy".... Ooof. I ended up getting a different pizza & it was good, so that was ok.
Just a quick to go order but I loved the vibe in there. Good music & all the pizza was prepped in plain site. Pizza was delicious. I would dine in next time.
Honestly I hate giving a bad review but I ordered delivery to our hotel & the pizza came still frozen on the inside.. it was inedible. I gave an extra star because if it was actually cooked I'd imagine it could be good, but wow this is a first. I wish them luck & hope they work out the kinks in the kitchen.

I went here with some friends to try Napolitan pizza. It was not as fluffy as it should be & crust was a bit too chewy. We could not cut into the pizza with a table knife. Toppings were a bit on the conservative side.
Went for a quick bite the other day & waited over 45 minutes for our pizzas.. The group that came after us even got their food before us.. Lazy service but the food was pretty good.
Our experience at Brigade began with a promise of a half an hour wait before ordering, yet we found ourselves waiting over an hour for our food, which was undoubtedly disappointing. However, the incredibly sincere demeanor of the staff, coupled with the outstanding quality of the cuisine, ultimately overshadowed this setback.
The pizza which is what we came for was really good. Unfortunately it was a skeleton staff, only one young lady working but she was really sweet & did a great job. The staff was great & friendly but importantly, good pizza.
