Brigade is a casual custom made neapolitan pizzeria. Pizza made by hand following the art of neapolitan pizza and cooked in our wood oven at 900 degree F.

La pâte était censée avoir reposé 72 heures, mais ce n'était clairement pas le cas. Je n'ai pas du tout aimé la pizza. C'était ma première fois ici, & probablement la dernière.
Même l'employé a reconnu que ce n'était pas leur meilleure pizza ce jour-là. Peut-être que je leur redonnerai une chance plus tard & que je modifierai mon avis si l'expérience est meilleure.
Le service n'était pas à la hauteur non plus, alors qu'il n'y avait quasiment personne dans le restaurant, seulement nous deux.

4 stars for service, not because folks were not nice & helpful, but because we had to wait quite a bit before we got our food. The place was understaffed. Pizzas were very good & the ambience was calm & cozy.
Excellent food, very slow service, staffing problems. The restaurant opens at 11 am. The second to last time I went there I arrived at 11:30 am, there was one lone staff member, absolutely no one in the restaurant except for an Uber driver picking up an order. The one employee was huffing & puffing & completely overwhelmed & did not even look at me for 10 min. I just wanted a sandwich for take away. When she finally greeted me at 11:40, she said it would take 20 minutes for a sandwich. I walked out. Restaurants should be ready to serve guests the moment the doors open. A few weeks later I decided to give this place another chance. I went with 6 colleagues at 11:30 am. I had made a reservation online hours before. We showed up & there was one lone employee completely unaware of our reservation & also completely overwhelmed because the waiters had not showed up on time. The waiters showed up around noon. The food was good but it takes forever to get it. The problem is not the employees, it's clearly management not staffing properly.
My parents & I stopped in for dinner & enjoyed our food immensely. This was some of the best crust I've had in recent memory- get the garlic knots so that the crust can really shine! We enjoyed both pizzas we got immensely.
Excellente pizza ! J'avais réservé pour l'anniversaire des 16 ans de mon fils avec ses amis & mon mari. Nous étions 7 personnes, la bouffe était délicieuse. & mention spéciale à Tristan qui s'est occupé de notre petit groupe, il a été génial, drôle & attentionné, & efficace considérant en plus qu'il était seul. Merci !

J'adore l'ambiance de ce resto, super cute, & la pizza est incroyable. Le resto mérite vraiment d'être plus connu!! & merci à notre serveur Tristan pour son super service. :)
Tristan is the kind of person who instantly makes you feel comfortable. He's friendly, attentive, & genuinely cares about creating a great experience. His positive attitude & welcoming personality truly stand out. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, & it makes all the difference.

I Ordered the Barbara pizza & it was served as a soupy mess. The fresh cheese was cold & the pizza not hot at all. This pizza was nearly impossible to eat with a fork & knife. Completely impossible by hand. The individual components were fine but didn't work as a pizza. I tried to order a beer-but they claimed there was a problem with the taps (strangely they didn't have anything in bottle either) I settled for a passable glass of white wine by the glass that was well priced.
Overall I am shocked they felt my pizza was worth sending out-it was mess.
I went here after reading an article about 'how construction was killing their business' out of support. However with no plans to return the food & presentation can't be helping. No paper towels in the washroom was also disappointing.

The pizza was good. The ingredients were good. The person who created the pizza program there has put in good work to create their pizza. Impressive! Surprised it was not busy.
My brothers & sister & family just had a fantastic dinner at the Brigade Pizza. It was crazy cold outside but the atmosphere & pizza inside were incredible. We had 5 different pizzas & every single one was top notch. The Detroit 8Mile (dee dish) was the winner but the TomBoy, Figeo, Hawaiian & Mushroom were very close seconds.
The service was just what you want - there & attentive when you need them.
I would definitely recommend you try them out if you are in Old Montreal.
