Review Summary

Brasserie Le Manoir Pointe-Claire is a long-standing West Island staple with a warm brasserie vibe, plenty of televisions for sports, a cozy feel from the fireplace and generous portions at reasonable prices. Reviews describe it as a welcoming spot for a diverse crowd of all ages, ideal for meeting friends, watching games, or enjoying a hearty meal, with a lively and convivial atmosphere and ample seating. The menu covers classic brasserie fare and substantial options, including roast beef, turkey dinners, fish and chips, burgers, pizza and poutine, with portions that satisfy and good value plus easy takeout. Service is often praised as fast and friendly, though some visits note slower service during busy times, occasional order mix ups and cleanliness concerns at entrances or outdoor areas. As a West Island institution it is celebrated for its social vibe, reliable food, and strong beer options that attract crowds for sports events and gatherings, while some guests recall changes to the traditional Canadienne or Quebecoise offerings and times when consistency varied.

3 Star Review from 2022:
(Updated 2025 Review below)

I've loved the Manoir for decades. 5 Stars! When my family asked me'Pete, you are flying in from Amsterdam for a funeral… where do you want to meet for dinner?' I didn't hesitate'Le Manoir' obviously.

There is nothing better than walking into the warm, inviting, & ultra Canadian setting of Le Manoir on a cool, rainy night (remember when the wood burning fire would warm you right up?) & ordering a quart of Labatt 50 (aka cinquante!) & a Canadienne Platter of pigs knuckles & Tourtierre.

It feels like coming home. Until they change the menu & forgo the Canadienne/Quebecoise platter for generic pub fare. Then you get slapped in the face when they tell you they don't have quarts of 50 or even 50 on tap. What hellish alternate universe have I landed in? How is this possible? Bud? Bud light? No quarts of Molson Export? No Labatt 50? Is this just another pub? Am I in Ontario?

Oh no… (I look around) the Leaf's are on all the tv's… is that what's happened to Le Manoir? Is this now a subsidiary of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Group? Did we let the enemy in the front door? Wake up West Island. Don't let them degrade this fine establishment anymore. The mini Vegas in the back was really bad. No tourtierre is worse. The lack of 50 is criminal.

I'm back for another funeral…

Good news. Quarts of Labatt 50 have returned to compliment the Patte de cochon! I'll be back in the spring looking for the return of the Canadienne or'Quebecoise' platter with Tourtierre. My patience & devotion to co venue to located institutions should be rewarded.

I went to le'petit Manoir (AKA The Rez for old timers) for breakfast on this trip as well.
What's the deal with the mini-Vegas vibes in the back by the toilet & all the video gambling machines…? (Besides making easy money from addicts?) it really drags the joint down a few notches on the nostalgic Montreal historic institutional rankings.

It was a rather large, clean & pleasant interior pub/restaurant. The food was reasonably priced, as was the beer. The service was adequate, but we had to wait quite a while sometimes.

Great place to watch sporting events. I love the fact that they can program different TV screens in your section to watch whatever is available. They have all of the premium sports channels & the food is pretty good for pub faire.
