Review Summary

Brasserie Le Manoir Pointe-Claire is a long-standing West Island staple with a warm brasserie vibe, plenty of televisions for sports, a cozy feel from the fireplace and generous portions at reasonable prices. Reviews describe it as a welcoming spot for a diverse crowd of all ages, ideal for meeting friends, watching games, or enjoying a hearty meal, with a lively and convivial atmosphere and ample seating. The menu covers classic brasserie fare and substantial options, including roast beef, turkey dinners, fish and chips, burgers, pizza and poutine, with portions that satisfy and good value plus easy takeout. Service is often praised as fast and friendly, though some visits note slower service during busy times, occasional order mix ups and cleanliness concerns at entrances or outdoor areas. As a West Island institution it is celebrated for its social vibe, reliable food, and strong beer options that attract crowds for sports events and gatherings, while some guests recall changes to the traditional Canadienne or Quebecoise offerings and times when consistency varied.

Great prices on beer. Love the big bottles. Good sports bar, lots of tvs. The burgers have very thin patties but I still thought the burger was really good with the double patty option.

Underwhelming - no kids menu (my kids didn't want nor could finish the giant plate of pasta or the burger plate?!?), poutine curds were warm & not squeaky at all. Service was to be desired. We were a big group (35) for a local soccer tournament & had only one waitress assigned, lots of staff otherwise on hand & it was not busy when we arrived. After we were served, nobody came to check on us for the 1.5hrs while there for 2nd round of drinks, etc. Waitress came at end of our meal & fumbled receipts & totals & collect her tip.

Seems like it's a local drinking hole & sports bar with giant-size pitchers of beer, nachos, etc. We only came due to proximity of hotel & ability to accommodate a large group. Better places to eat for $200 bill to feed 2 adults & 3 kids. Bathrooms are neglected & smell musty.

Lolo is the best waitress, Keeyan is also the best bartender (Lolo is a bartenderess), Boden is the best waiter, & Billy is the perfect manager. I became a regular because of these excellent ideviduals whom I admire for their work. Anyway this place has the best atmosphere & vibe, along with high-quality food. If you want to experience the West Island vibe, this is it. This is where we go. This is THE West Island Bar.

Kinda loud sometimes, but it's an expected as a sports bar & restaurant!
Can be very busy on event nights.

Ordered the pig knuckles from the regular menu & the calzone from the daily specials menu, which included a soup of the day. Today's soup was beef noodle soup. The food was amazing-the pig knuckles were very tender & stewed to perfection. However, service was a bit slow as the server also managed the bar. The atmosphere was fantastic, especially with the cozy fire stove fireplace.

What can I say about this icon of an establishment. Always good food. Fantastic staff. A go to sports bar with an old school feel. I love this place. Huge terrace.

I eat here fairly often as this a decent place to go have brunch on the weekend. Food is good, service is also good but sometimes slow because they are understaffed & this places does get fairly busy at times. Atmosphere is great. For a sports bar/tavern this is a pretty good to watch hockey or just enjoy a beer at the end of a long day at work.

Food was good, but the price vs portion size isn't too good. I paid $25 for the Manoir Burger plate & I had an extremely small portion of fries super soggy coleslaw. No pickle. Also, the glass of sangria I had was overpriced & had barely any alcohol in it

Service over the years has been, at best, so-so. The waiters & waitresses are usually frazzled, rushed, & rude. It often takes at least 10-15 minutes before someone even comes to 'serve' you. What's weird, too, is that we've brought our young kids here before. Sometimes they let you in with kids, sometimes they don't. The last time we went with our kids for lunch a waiter blasted us for even thinking about bringing in our kids. When I told him that we've brought our kids in before he told me I was lying...okay...But I guess this is why you work in a bar. I'll never go back here again, nor will I recommend it. Oh, & if you can't get enough screen time, le Manoir is the place to go--at one point (not sure if they still do) they had over 70 TV screens! Really?!

Every year or so we re-try this place, but it gets more "meh" every time we go. The menu changed from what I remembered a few years ago & in my opinion for the worse.

I had the pig's knuckles, wife had the fish & the best both of us could say was that it was barely OK. The food is just not that good. The waiters seemed like they were burnt out & just bored to be there. Overall rating would be a poor average.

We might give it one last try again after at least another year passes but definitely not before because there a lot of better places around.
