3 Star Review from 2022:
(Updated 2025 Review below)
I've loved the Manoir for decades. 5 Stars! When my family asked me'Pete, you are flying in from Amsterdam for a funeral… where do you want to meet for dinner?' I didn't hesitate'Le Manoir' obviously.
There is nothing better than walking into the warm, inviting, & ultra Canadian setting of Le Manoir on a cool, rainy night (remember when the wood burning fire would warm you right up?) & ordering a quart of Labatt 50 (aka cinquante!) & a Canadienne Platter of pigs knuckles & Tourtierre.
It feels like coming home. Until they change the menu & forgo the Canadienne/Quebecoise platter for generic pub fare. Then you get slapped in the face when they tell you they don't have quarts of 50 or even 50 on tap. What hellish alternate universe have I landed in? How is this possible? Bud? Bud light? No quarts of Molson Export? No Labatt 50? Is this just another pub? Am I in Ontario?
Oh no… (I look around) the Leaf's are on all the tv's… is that what's happened to Le Manoir? Is this now a subsidiary of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Group? Did we let the enemy in the front door? Wake up West Island. Don't let them degrade this fine establishment anymore. The mini Vegas in the back was really bad. No tourtierre is worse. The lack of 50 is criminal.

I'm back for another funeral…
Good news. Quarts of Labatt 50 have returned to compliment the Patte de cochon! I'll be back in the spring looking for the return of the Canadienne or'Quebecoise' platter with Tourtierre. My patience & devotion to co venue to located institutions should be rewarded.
I went to le'petit Manoir (AKA The Rez for old timers) for breakfast on this trip as well.
What's the deal with the mini-Vegas vibes in the back by the toilet & all the video gambling machines…? (Besides making easy money from addicts?) it really drags the joint down a few notches on the nostalgic Montreal historic institutional rankings.
These two gentlemen have retired from the MUHC but continue to organize our breakfast club every other month, getting the group together & enjoying each other's company here. The service & food are excellent!!
Great place for watching sports. Staff & food number one. For breakfast, smoked salmon & bagel is tops. For supper , rib steak & butterfly shrimp is awesome. Highly recommended.
Large breakfast menu. Excellent hash browns. Good friendly service. Pizzas are tasty.
We watched the soccer game on Saturday morning while having a super delicious breakfast! Very nicely done.
First time eating here. How do my toasts look to you? Even the waiter was embarrassed & said he knew they were bad. Why would the kitchen dare to send out that plate? The waiter was nice & said he would replace my plate but I never send plates back for fear of reprisals....:-) but this one was obviously not fit to be served. The eggs were good but obviously the toast was horrible. The bacon was very fatty & undercooked (but some folks must like it that way). The sausage & ham is your regular run of the mill sausage & ham from all greasy breakfast places. 22$ for that plate was underwhelming. Not a good first impression unfortunately, but I always give restaurants a second chance so I will go back & update on my second experience. 🤘
Excelente service. We went for a breakfast meeting & it was excellent. It's a sports brasserie & that's the atmosphere
I love this place, nice to go eat breakfast. The food is really good, but only the service is pretty slow.
One of the best breakfast spots in the west island.
Reasonably priced, huge portions, bottomless coffee, & for us the service has always been great.
I've only been once for dinner years ago to watch a football game, which is great because they must have at least a dozen tvs in the place, so it's great for sporting events.
But breakfast is what we go there for on the weekends.
& the hostess is always so friendly too!!
As we arrived at approximately 1:00pm, we were greeted by a very abrasive woman.
She grabbed me by the arm to show us to our seat, then started screaming (not yelling) to our waitress to come & serve us.
We have been there before & know for a fact breakfast is served until 3:00pm on weekends.
The waitress was very pleasant. We asked to see breakfast menus.
Our waitress politely informed us breakfast was done!
We took a look at the new menu & decided to leave as it is completely ridiculously priced.
My arm still hurts. :(
Le Manoir advertised a special Mother's Day menu with a flower for every "wonderful" mother....it was special alright!! The menu was downgraded from their regular breakfast menu...less items to choose from. When we asked our waitress "why" she replied that they took out all the items that take too long to make. There was NOTHING special about this menu. Not only that....there was NO flower for the mom's....not one!!!!! Then to make matters worse, we were handed our bill before we finished our breakfast & the elderly couple beside us received their bill along with their meal. Very tacky!!!!
After being a regular customer at Le Manoir,I will think twice before I go there again.
