We have tried them all, over the past 40 years. So when you have one that is one of the best it needs to be saluted. A small family run business which thrives on making sour dough bread. But it really is much more than that. They make such different pastries & brioches. ie. Toast Miel with cream brulee & mulled wine brioche. These are to die for! & for Xmas they made special items such as the Pate Bourguignon, feuilletes a la saucisse, feuilletes poireaux & many more delicious items. Locals are realizing how good this bakery is, & if you plan to visit St. Sauveur make a stop here, you will not be disappointed.
Took the opportunity to step inside before leaving St-Sauveur & very happy that I did. The service was incredibly friendly & the person who greeted us was happy to inform us on the details of each pastry. The beauty of the pastries & the way that they proudly display their bread--as well as the way she informed us on each pastry--clearly shows the passion that they put into their products. The pastries are very creative & made with true culinary knowledge. I'd develop a very bad habit if I lived nearby. You can't leave without trying the crème brûlée honey toast.
