Review Summary

Reviews describe Boulangerie Ange as a bright, welcoming bakery with a wide selection of breads, croissants, pastries and sandwiches, and many readers praise buttery croissants, almond croissants, chouquettes, pain au chocolat and flaky pastries as highlights, along with fresh bread and tasty quiches or pizza slices for lunch. The atmosphere is often described as cozy and modern, with good natural light and comfortable seating when available, making it a good spot for a quick breakfast, coffee, or a casual bite. The service is frequently praised as friendly, efficient and attentive, although some comments note slower or rushed service, occasional lapses in warmth, or moments of less helpful interaction during busy periods. Pricing is viewed as fair for the quality by many, while a few mention higher prices or a sense that some items are expensive. Overall, Boulangerie Ange is seen as a top bakery option in downtown, reliable for fresh products and consistent quality, with many planning to return.

Really nice people, AMAZING baked goods, lovely friendly staff *but not fake saccharine friendly, this is Montreal, not California. &... Surprisingly affordable, like not much more than factory stuff from the supermarket & every is made by hand right there. Nice terrasse outside by reflecting pool when weather allows, lovely seating indoors when not.

The croissant & the lox sandwich were good. Big selection of desserts & baked goods. The coffee was not great. Service was alright. Lots of seating available, but they looked pretty unclean. Inside the hotel so good convenience location.

The store is located in a nice building near Palais des Congrès, with a pleasant seating area. They offer delicious viennoiseries at reasonable prices, & also sell sandwiches & coffee.

Excellent bakery+ plenty of options, freshly baked, & fast service. Seating inside in a nice ambiance to enjoy your pastry or drink as well. This chain is also in France.
