Employees are very rude!!! Every time I go I would wait for at least 15 minutes for someone to notice me even though I would be the only one waiting.
Last time I have waited for 15min, no one approached me so I just left. I love their cakes & croissants but the service is bad.
'I want to share my experience from yesterday Saturday 21 of March at this location. I often go to the Ange Boulangerie at Alexis Nihon location (very good service always) but this time I was walking around old Montreal for my birthday. I arrived at 6:50 p.m. even though your closing time is 7:30 p.m. when I got there, I saw many people inside. I asked a blonde girl, who was behind the counter about a promotion that a friend mine told me about: a free birthday cake. She had a very cold attitude all the time, I explained her that I was already signed up on the app, but she said it wasn't the same & that I had to make a new membership with a code. She gave me a card to register again, but after I get it done, she told me I couldn't get the promotion of free birthday cake because it was only for those who had purchased many times at that location. So, I accepted & bought the cake. I also asked for a sandwich & a coffee. She didn't sell me the coffee because the machine was already clean, I asked for a chicken & pesto baguette (what I am normally getting from the other location) but she just gave me an empty baguette. I looked at her surprised & told her that I asked for a chicken & pesto baguette, & she said we don't have that sandwich here. At that point I was feeling very uncomfortable about her attitude, almost like I have offended her when I asked about that birthday promo. I just decided to buy the cake & leave; She wasn't at the register the whole time; she just came back to bring the items & to process the payment. She never gave me a receipt, normally they supposed to ask if you want or not a receipt. I felt really bad, even discriminated, as I did something to deserve her looking down at me, like I was not a good enough for her to give me service. After that experience, I went for a coffee to Starbucks, right across the street, & it was a completely different experience. The Starbucks girl smiled from the start, when I said I wanted to try something different for my birthday, She smile & said happy birthday to me. she explained the new seasonal coffees, & told me about the loyalty program, including points & weekly promotions, which I didn't know about. It was a wonderful experience, & I was really happy with the kindness on the attention. I always try to support local businesses but unfortunately the service quality is not always the best when they believe they have the right to discriminate people based on ethnicity, appearances or how much money you spend. In the other hand at big brands as Starbucks or McDonalds they may not give you a special service but at least they are there to do their work & don't really care about your appearance or if you will be spending more or less. I Hope this Ange Boulangerie can improve on their customer service, nobody need a mean blonde skinny girl behind a counter judging you just because she feels superior working for a local brand in a fancy area of the city.

Service très décevant. La personne à la caisse riait à haute voix avec sa collègue & faisait des gestes déplacés envers le monsieur, au lieu de s'occuper de lui & de répondre à ses questions.
Aucune prise en charge, aucune explication & aucune réponse claire.
Un minimum de professionnalisme & de sérieux serait vraiment à revoir au niveau du service à la clientèle.
C'est un coin assez sympa la nourriture pas assez à mon goût le service est très bon l'atmosphère 60/40
Il y a peu de place & souvent des personnes qui sont seules sont assises à des places de 5 à 6 personnes & ça je trouve ça un peu dommage.
À part ça c'est un bon coin pour se poser tranquille
Je suis passée 2 fois ce jour, & les 2 fois j'ai pu voir les vendeuses installées les sandwichs ou pâtisseries avec leur mains, puis toucher la caisse puis retoucher à mes sandwichs avec leurs mains. Niveau sanitaire c'est à revoir. Si les vendeurs font ça devant les clients, que font-ils dans les cuisines ?!?!
