Snagged in by the French onion soup. Very much enjoyed the trout & green beans. Pleasant service, accommodating in English. The bar is well-thought out - snuggle spots for couples, comfortable for solo diners. My barneighbour's escargot smelled heavenly & the steak looked perfect.

We had a lovely meal. We shared an escargot, salad & the ouef mayonnaise a la Russe. All were very good. I had the blood sausage & my husband had the duck confit for mains. Both were good but not excellent. We had the house rosè which was very nice & the service was great. We were too full for dessert. We'll likely return & try different mains or just stick to starters.

Classic French bistro where you know exactly what you're getting. No surprises, just everything executed well & true to what it should be. The escargots, the hanger steak, the duck breast & the rice pudding are all really good. You eat well from start to finish, entrée, main, dessert.

On m'a recommandé ce restaurant. Probablement pour sa facade. La cuisine était très fade, que ce soit la bisque, les escargots, pourtant pas très compliqué à préparer. La raie était insipide & mal cuite, & le millefeuille ne valait malheureusement pas grand chose , du feuilleté à la ganache qui ne goûtait que le vide.
Seul le décor instagramable était au rdv.
Quand au service, un sourire ou un semblant d'ambiguïté n'aurait pas été de trop..

Nous y sommes aller un soir, mon copain & moi!
Service attentionné & agréable, menu varié & délicieux, cadre sympathique à la française..
Nous avions pris :
- entrées: escargots 🐌 & rillettes
- plats: raies, champignons au pastis, raviolis au compté 🧀
- dessert : mille feuille que nous avions partagé !
Nous recommandons vivement & nous reviendrons ! 💯💯💯 (je vous recommande de réserver en ligne, les places se remplissent vites!!)

We had such a good time at Bouillon Albert! The service was swift, friendly staff & great atmosphere - the lighting, music, noise levels were all perfect. The food was delicious!

The only thing I can think of improving would be to have two pronged snail forks for the escargot instead of bamboo skewers. But if that's all I have to complain about, you can tell it's a pretty fantastic place hitting the mark with their appetizers, mains, & dessert.

The beef tartare was exceptional!

Nous sommes allés au Bouillon Albert afin de nous remémorer nos souvenirs de Paris. Laissez moi vous dire que c'est même meilleur que celui de France, car il y a la touche d'amour québécoise que nous adorons tous !!!! Pour 100$ vous en avez assez pour une excellente soirée. Je recommande l'entrée aux escargots qui est un incontournable & le canard confit !!!!

Suite a un spectacle j ai decide d essayer ce bouillon francais. Apres avoir vu plusieurs publications sur la place je me suis lancer pour le test. L endroit reste chaleureux mais n a pas vraiment changer de son predecesseur qui etait la auparavant. Les tables sont les meme, le bar, la configuration. La salle etait pleine, de tous ages & toutes grosseur de tablée. Notre serveur Axel fut aux petits oignons avec nous, tres poli, maitrisait son menu & la suggestion de vin fut excellente.

Le point negatif du restaurant fut malheureusement la nourriture, j ai partager des entree & un plat principal avec la personne qui m accompagnait. La soupe de poisson etait tres gouteuse, mais certains autres etablissements francais la reussisse mieux. Decu enormement par l oeuf mimosa, ou le jaune n est meme pas fouette ou transformer. Les escargots ont ete le coup de coeur des entrees. La blanquette de veau etait le clou du spectacle. Savoureuse & consistente.

Je crois que des meilleurs restaurants sont disponibles autour du Bouillon pour tester les classique de la gastronomie francaise

Very good French food. The onion soup was lovely, & so were the escargot. A friend got steak frites & it was not good. It was burnt & the meat was tough, even though he asked for medium done.
Great service, super friendly staff.
