Regularly visit the Time-Out location, but today I went to the Verdun location for the first time to try the mini egg cannolis, which were fantastic! Amazing staff here, as the employee who served me was extremely friendly & gave me some suggestions. I always get the eggplant parm sandwich, but I wanted to elect for something new today & asked what other vegetarian sandwiches can be served warm. She told me the Caprese sandwich could be grilled & served warm, & this sandwich was absolutely 🔥🔥. Great experience all around & I look forward to visiting regularly!
Hands down the best sandwiches I've ever tried. I ate the porcetta & I recommend it. The staff is very nice, the only downside is there is a lot of people so order ahead of time
What a disappointment, I tried ordering 10 sandwiches from the Dix30 location & was they never took my order. Call back later that's what i got answered & later they never answered the phone. Its a shame I spoke highly to my collegues about this place & was anxious to try it but at the end the employees were not interested in giving me service . Plenty of other place that are willing to offer good service
Walked in at 12:20 on a Sunday afternoon. It was a fullhouse with people dining-in & also many waiting in line to place their orders. FYI: I am not the most patient person & I don't usually do line-ups, but I decided to relax & give this joint a chance. I was out the door within 15 minutes of walking in, which (in my opinion) is acceptable.
Place seems clean at first glance.
Employees seem too work well together although the preparation section is chaotic (keep in kind that I visited during lunch).
Many pastas, salads, & sauces can be purchased from their refridgerated sections. Prices are... ok.
As expected, sandwiches were messy & oily but that's how you know it was done right. No shortage of toppings either as the two sandwiches I ordered were stuffed with fresh ingredients. Prices were reasonable ($17/sandwich).
Location can be difficult to find & parking can be a real PITA, although I still prefer this location than the one in Verdun (the Verdun location gives me a bad vibe).

Went in & bought a few sandwiches to go plus coffee, I asked first if the sandwiches came in boxes (bc I saw boxes behind them & thought each came in a box) & if they could separate the sandwiches as I was buying for different people but they said they couldn't give boxes, they were running low, just wrapped, so I said ok no problem. When the sandwiches were ready I asked if I could please get a bag as I have to carry them plus the coffee & then another employee with MAJOR attitude says no, we can't, we need them & can't give out, meanwhile all the Uber Eats & DoorDash picking up their orders in bags. Last I checked you make more money from walk in customers vs delivery & I could use a bag to transport the sandwiches I just bought. But the attitude was the worst, so dismissive as if I was asking for gold. I understand bags & things can run low, but there are much better ways to say it, & understand I'm trying to transport what I just purchased & not wanting to drop them.
So yes, sandwiches are good BUT not the only player in town by far, never going back, terrible first impression when buying a few sandwiches at almost $20 each.
Next time I'll try a different sandwich & there are many to choose from. I like simple sandwiches, not into creamy or saucy or mooshy...which depicts the porchetta perfectly. If that's what you like you'll love that sandwich. The caramelized onions overly dominated the other ingredients. I found the sandwich to slimy, both the kick from the peppers & the pork flavours undetectable. The bread was the best part of the sandwich... Liked the bread so much that I'm willing to try one of their other sandwiches.
Loved the chicken parm & cheese steak sandwiches. The tiramisu is very good as well. I just wasn't a huge fan of the cheese arancini but everything else was good.
Unacceptable.
I ordered a pickup of three sandwiches, arrived home & the chicken parm was raw, literally raw.
I emailed your store to not post on a Google review, but with no response I decided to leave my review.
Thanks for listening.

I would like to edit my review.
Shortly after my posting my review, who I believe is the owner, reached out to me. He apologized for the incident, explained that they were truly sorry & made sure that his team was aware of the situation. I've deceived to alter my review to a 5 star, because we go to restaurants for two reasons, one is obviously for the food, & a close runner up is for the customer service….& it is clear that Bossa delivered the latter.
Given all of this, we will definitely be returning to Bossa & giving them another try!
I've been to Bossa many times, & they never disappoint. This visit, I went with the Italiano, & it was incredible. It's absolutely stuffed with high-quality prosciutto & mortadella, fresh crispy lettuce, & their signature pickled olives which add the perfect tangy kick. Every bite is fresh & packed with flavor.
The vibe of the shop is just as good as the food. It feels like a true neighborhood gem-super cozy & charming, filled with imported Italian goods, pastas, & great coffee. It's always buzzing with energy, which makes the whole experience feel authentic. If you're looking for the best sandwiches in Montreal, this is definitely the place!
Pro tip: Grab a cannoli or a Bomboloni on your way out-you won't regret it.
They definitely have the best & the biggest sandwiches on Wellington. They are delicious & honestly big enough to feed two people. I do find that sometimes the sandwiches can be too greasy though, still delicious. The only issue is the lineup situation here. When they get busy, there is no real queuing system & you will be waiting for a while to get your food.
