Staff in the beginning was very kind & understanding, until all my friends came & had a few questions about the menu. Some were asking if they could share the meal & split the bill with each other due to not having as much of an appetite. Server became irritated, because I guess she couldn't understand what we meant & brought the manager whom was very passive aggressive towards me, while explaining why it's easier if we all order the omakase- which was very much not needed…. & to add, that wasn't really the question my friends had to begin with. But we all understood what she meant when the waiter explain the first time she explained & didn't even ask for the manager at all! At the end, I had brought cake, & in the omakase description it said it included dessert of the hour, didn't think it included the cake I paid for myself from a bakery though. When it came down to paying, server got mad for some people not being able to tip which is an optional thing by the way!! Overall, the food was okay, it wasn't that much different from any other sushi spot in Montreal but the drinks were very unique & tasty.
Bloom Sushi is an absolute standout. Every dish was incredibly unique & packed with bold, well-balanced flavors you can really tell how much creativity & care goes into the menu. Nothing felt repetitive, & each bite was exciting in its own way.
The staff were just as impressive knowledgeable, polite, & genuinely passionate about the food. They were happy to explain dishes & offer recommendations, which made the experience even better.
All around exceptional experience & definitely recommend.

Vegan sushi is a hard thing to pull off but bloom does it with ease. If you get the service menu, you will leave happy, full, & satisfied.
I know this is something people always say but i genuinely did not taste the difference when they had mock salmon rolls. I also loved the fried dumplings & soup. Fresh ingredients & unique flavours.
It doesn't get too crowded but I would still recommend a reservation. The restaurant is also very well decored & the tone is so warm & inviting.
Food was quite good, very well presented. Flavor was not anything special or unique, perhaps overdone. But we loved the atmosphere. Beer selection is limited, & their house offering is a poor one. Service wasn't very attentive but maybe that's because it was a busy night.
A great experience if you visit Montreal & you need a reliable address downtown before catching a performance nearby. Friendly atmosphere & very attentive staff, on top of unique vegetarian sushi selection. A great experience.
Unique & delicious flavour combos. Really enjoyed the ones with vegan cream cheese in them. Great ambience. Food takes some time to come out so keep that in mind.
Ici on est complètement ailleurs dans l'univers du monde des sushis. Une expérience unique & à un niveau supérieur pour les passionnés de ce type de cuisine. La composition & le montage des plats est beaucoup plus élaboré que ce que l'on retrouve habituellement.
