Review Summary

Reviews consistently praise Bloom Sushi for inventive vegan sushi, with fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and beautiful presentation that often impresses even non vegans. The service and atmosphere are repeatedly highlighted as warm and attentive in a stylish setting. The menu is creative and diverse, with standout items like miso soup, gyoza, arancini, and a tasting option that showcases the kitchen’s creativity. While busy nights can bring longer waits or occasional mixups, most diners feel the quality justifies the visit and keep coming back. Staff in the beginning was very kind & understanding, until all my friends came & had a few questions about the menu. Some were asking if they could share the meal & split the bill with each other due to not having as much of an appetite. Server became irritated, because I guess she couldn't understand what we meant & brought the manager whom was very passive aggressive towards me, while explaining why it's easier if we all order the omakase- which was very much not needed…. & to add, that wasn't really the question my friends had to begin with. But we all understood what she meant when the waiter explain the first time she explained & didn't even ask for the manager at all! At the end, I had brought cake, & in the omakase description it said it included dessert of the hour, didn't think it included the cake I paid for myself from a bakery though. When it came down to paying, server got mad for some people not being able to tip which is an optional thing by the way!! Overall, the food was okay, it wasn't that much different from any other sushi spot in Montreal but the drinks were very unique & tasty.

Overall, the food was good. I'm not a vegan but I love vegetables. I know how much work it takes to prepare a nice vegetable dish. The downside was the too many fried meals which probably gives the tasty crunch. The atmosphere was really nice although the place is a kind of small & difficult to navigate between the tables.

The employees were amazing, generous, efficient & friendly. They were the highlight of the place. The atmosphere was just ok. The food was disappointing (& I've been to different vegan sushi restaurants). Salmon sashimi was ok. Miso soup was bland. The rice was good. The crispy rice was unpleasantly chewy & gummy. The smoked crab was extremely overpowering; after that, we couldn't taste anything else. Brownie was gummy, although very tasty.

A fusion Japanese sushi. We like it. Many types of sushi to try. Hard to get a table around this area, especially if we have more than 4 people. Service is good. Staff are friendly & helpful. We sit on the outdoor table which is nice, not too crowded. Food comes quickly & yummy. Many tasty sushi rolls. We will come back

Lovely spot for vegan sushi. Most of the rolls are very good. Some are less tasty than others. The matcha ice cream was good aside from some bits of ice, & the brownie was tasty, but the hot coulis the plate was lathered with was too tart. The waitress was great.

This is a really fun restaurant for vegans & non vegans alike . The sushi was well presented & extremely tasty. The outdoor terrace is the way to go. A gem in the area!

The food was AMAZING. Wow! & the decor/ambiance is amazing! I took cripsy inari (WOW 10/10), the gyozas, again wow, & the sauce that came with it was heavenly, & then I took the kamikaze inari which was also extremely tasty! I am extremely satisfied with this restaurant! It is expensive but worth it. I took less to stick to my budget of 40$ before tips & taxes, so I was still a little bit hungry but that was my own decision! My partner had crispy inari too with kamikaze saumon & kamikaze inari & she absolutely loved every bite as well. We will definitely come back
