Downtown Montreal is home to a brand new occupant, and we’re here to have a good time. A social lounge, an artisan bar and a modern bistro, Bivouac provides an urban and boreal gastronomic experience to all who pass through its doors.

Here, the objective is simple: to introduce guests to a whole new world of tastes and sensations. Taking advantage of the best that the Quebec region and its artisans have to offer.

Bivouac is where guests can get away from the chaos of city life to explore, share and enjoy the quintessence of our nature, all during a meal.

Located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on the 6th floor of Complexe Desjardins.
In summer, the Bivouac Terrace offers a breathtaking view of the city and is perfectly located to enjoy the lively Place des Festivals. In winter, the Refuges du Bivouac offer to set up a camp for an evening under a beautifully decorated and heated dome that can accommodate up to 10 people, in the heart of the entertainment district.

Moi & mon épouse avons promis le meme rôti de boeuf avec la même cuisson médium saignant. Le mien était si raide que difficilement mastiquable tandis que le sien était ok. Pas de la cuisine super raffinée, ça vais pas le détour au 6e étage!

Toujours un plaisir. Cette fois-ci, une gaspacho au cantaloup TOTALEMENT EXQUISE, un saumon fondant entouré de petits radis marinés & croquants à souhait, & un pouding chômeur moelleux & juste ce qu'il faut de sucré. Le Bivouac : toujours l'excellence.

A wonderful restaurant. The service is impeccable, the food is amazing & full of flavor & style. You can tell the kitchen has a love & passion for the art they create. Tre magnifique! I cant wait to go back to Bivouac again.

Fantastic food, beautiful presentation, very attentive waitstaff, excellent ambience & decor. Common allergens are clearly marked on the menu.
On the pricier side but well worth it.

Best option in the area for a reservation if you're attending an event at Place des Arts!

Le Plateau de fromage & de charcuterie étaient très bien pour l'apéro de 4.
Nous étions près de la cuisine & il y avait du fruit de vaisselle & d'ustensiles que s'entrechoquent: il faudrait faire attention à cela.

Classy Hilton class dining. I would say the beef tartare was the best in Quebec. Unfortunately the dessert was a set back, while the mains - vegetarian & octopus were mediocre. Worth visiting.

Cuisine originale, bien présentée, bien servie a découvrir. Nous avons sollicité quelque fois le service, pour le choix du cocktail, pour le choix du vin etc.. & le moins qu'on puisse dire c'est que le service est très professionnel. Le seul hic a été la musique zig boom boom par vraiment en adéquation avec tout le reste y compris le décor ! Un Jazz, un piano même une musique d'ascenseur aurait été mieux ! Ceci dit j'y retournerai certainement !

Nous avons passé une excellente soirée au Bivouac pour l'anniversaire de notre belle maman de 83 ans. L'accueil était chaleureux, la nourriture excellente & le service parfait. Un merci bien apprécié à notre serveur Maxime qui a su porter une petite attention spéciale à notre maman. 🤗😊

Had vegetarian meal, gnocchi with Brussel sprout purée & pecans. Nice combo with a great green salad & dressing. The gnocchi were plentiful but a touch dry. Overall good. Service impeccable, friendly & attentive!

Nous avons eu la chance d'aller déguster la table d'hôte aux premières loges du restaurant Bivouac avant d'aller voir un spectacle mercredi dernier. C'était délicieux! Le service est attentionné, les employés veillent à ce qu'on ne manque de rien. Une belle découverte pour nous, nous y retournerons certainement pour la terrasse cet été 🍹☀?🎶
