Downtown Montreal is home to a brand new occupant, and we’re here to have a good time. A social lounge, an artisan bar and a modern bistro, Bivouac provides an urban and boreal gastronomic experience to all who pass through its doors.

Here, the objective is simple: to introduce guests to a whole new world of tastes and sensations. Taking advantage of the best that the Quebec region and its artisans have to offer.

Located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on the 6th floor of Complexe Desjardins.
In summer, the Bivouac Terrace offers a breathtaking view of the city and is perfectly located to enjoy the lively Place des Festivals. In winter, the Refuges du Bivouac offer to set up a camp for an evening under a beautifully decorated and heated dome that can accommodate up to 10 people, in the heart of the entertainment district.

Nous avons été très déçu de la nourriture, l'entrée se Pétoncles était très bonne, nous avons pris un filet mignon demandé médium il est arrivé très cuit & sans goût, ma conjointe a pris la Morue aussi sans goût. Les dessert Gâteau fromage & bleuets & Pouding chômeur étaient correct sans plus. De plus nous avions des cartes cadeaux d'une valeur de 300$ & comme notre facture s'élevait à 262$ on nous a informé que nous perdions la différence. Assez ordinaire. Nous avons été très déçu

To be honest this was not my favourite. The place has 0 ambience, the terrace is the most generic terrace you can think of, there is no design whatsoever, it almost feels like it was all purchased on a backyard furniture sale. I had a duck breast - asked for medium rare, they said they only cook it one way- "pink", ok that sounds fine, but in reality it was overcooked & pretty dry. Also the seasoning was pretty bland. My partner enjoyed his ribs though. Overall it was just underwhelming altogether.

Pour un restaurant de cette qualité, je m'attendais à une mise en place avec nappe & fauteuil plus confortable. Ça ressemble à un restaurant de service rapide. Mais pour la nourriture & le service, il n'y a rien à redire. Ç'était parfait

Très bel endroit avec une vue splendide sur Montréal grâce à la grande terrasse..... Les plats sont succulents & servis en terrasse avec une explication pour chaques plats servis. .... Spéciale dédicace pour Gabriel le plus beau & gentil des serveurs 😁
