Downtown Montreal is home to a brand new occupant, and we’re here to have a good time. A social lounge, an artisan bar and a modern bistro, Bivouac provides an urban and boreal gastronomic experience to all who pass through its doors.

Here, the objective is simple: to introduce guests to a whole new world of tastes and sensations. Taking advantage of the best that the Quebec region and its artisans have to offer.

Bivouac is where guests can get away from the chaos of city life to explore, share and enjoy the quintessence of our nature, all during a meal.

Located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on the 6th floor of Complexe Desjardins.
In summer, the Bivouac Terrace offers a breathtaking view of the city and is perfectly located to enjoy the lively Place des Festivals. In winter, the Refuges du Bivouac offer to set up a camp for an evening under a beautifully decorated and heated dome that can accommodate up to 10 people, in the heart of the entertainment district.

Les entrées étaient délicieuses, le vin était exquis, j'ai un peu moins aimé les gnocchis (mais c'est un goût personnel) mais en gros, c'est une expérience mémorable. Merci!

Dommage que la nourriture ne soit pas au rendez vous. Les plats principaux à mon conjoint & moi étaient secs & peu goûteux. Nous avons pris les côtes levées & le filet mignon.

Average trout. Mushy tasteless eggplant. Fair to poor wine selection by the glass. Music irritating & too loud. We walked from our hotel to find the restaurant & the signage was so poor we had to call.

The tables were so close one to another that we barely could fit between them to get to the bench. It was not intimate enough, we felt that we were sharing a table with strangers.

Very nice!!!
First of all, even if we arrived late, service was impeccable! Nice recommendations, for dishes to share, or wine pairing...
& food was great! Simple & to the point!
& lastly, not so noisy so we could enjoy conversation 😉
Yes it is a little pricey but well worth it. Go for it!

Super bel endroit! Bouffe succulente même sublime en bouche. Accueil chaleureux, le personnel aux tables est courtoi, gentils & avenants. Merci Carolanne ainsi qu'à l'équipe du Bivouac pour cette excellente expérience culinaire.

Service on a Thursday night was very attentive while the restaurant was quite busy. Food tasted good & looked nice. Mostly office or tourist crowds. Decor is very nice & so is the presentation. The food quality has been consistent over the past year from my personal experience.

Le service était exceptionnel ! Vraiment ça devient rare de nos jours, bravo pour ça. Le cadre était très élégant, la nourriture était très bonne, qualité des produits & super présentation mais certains goûts étaient assez spéciaux & n'ont pas excellé dans le palais de certains d'entre nous. Mis à part ça, vous êtes géniaux !!

We had a great dining experience here! It was a bit hard to find at first (have to go up an elevator), but we were so glad we did! Excellent host & wait staff. Friendly & efficient. The dining room is beautiful with a great view of the city, however the seating was a bit cramped. Not cramped enough to ruin the experience though. The food was delicious with interesting flavour profiles & beautiful presentations. Thank you, merci beaucoup!

Impecable. Heureuse de la promotion stationnement gratuit pour un repas de 180$ & plus pour deux entrées. Bien déçue de voir que le billet donné n'était pas valide rendu au stationnement.

La nourriture était très bonne parcontre certains plats n'étaient pas très chauds. Pour ma part j'ai mangé le canard, j'ai trouvé la portion de viande assez petite.
