Downtown Montreal is home to a brand new occupant, and we’re here to have a good time. A social lounge, an artisan bar and a modern bistro, Bivouac provides an urban and boreal gastronomic experience to all who pass through its doors.

Here, the objective is simple: to introduce guests to a whole new world of tastes and sensations. Taking advantage of the best that the Quebec region and its artisans have to offer.

Bivouac is where guests can get away from the chaos of city life to explore, share and enjoy the quintessence of our nature, all during a meal.

Located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on the 6th floor of Complexe Desjardins.
In summer, the Bivouac Terrace offers a breathtaking view of the city and is perfectly located to enjoy the lively Place des Festivals. In winter, the Refuges du Bivouac offer to set up a camp for an evening under a beautifully decorated and heated dome that can accommodate up to 10 people, in the heart of the entertainment district.

C'est une tradition pour nous d'assister au spectacle Hommage à Vienne & d'aller dîner au Bivouac ensuite. Je n'ai que de bons mots à dire sur l'ensemble du repas. La cuisine est délicieuse & le service était parfait. Merci à notre serveur Jonathan qui était d'une grande gentillesse. Nous reviendrons au cours de l'année & certainement le 1er janvier 2025.

Had the filet mignon. Asked for medium & it came away over cooked. The server agreed & immediately apologized & got another one. The second one was cooked right but very unimpressive. The potato had no flavour & was not good. The steak was very small & not very good. The bernaise sauce however was the best I've ever had. My wife had the cod which is fantastic....wish I ordered that as well. All the other food was great. The service was top notch.
