Downtown Montreal is home to a brand new occupant, and we’re here to have a good time. A social lounge, an artisan bar and a modern bistro, Bivouac provides an urban and boreal gastronomic experience to all who pass through its doors.
Here, the objective is simple: to introduce guests to a whole new world of tastes and sensations. Taking advantage of the best that the Quebec region and its artisans have to offer.
Bivouac is where guests can get away from the chaos of city life to explore, share and enjoy the quintessence of our nature, all during a meal.

We were there for drinks & had a fantastic experience. We didn't have to wait long & were promptly brought to the rooftop bar. The atmosphere was great, with an amazing view overlooking Place des Arts. You can feel the hustle & excitement from Saint Catherine below. While we didn't get much service, it didn't detract from our experience. The location really made up for everything, offering a perfect spot to relax & take in the city vibes.
Great food, great service & great drinks! Great view of place des arts as well
The Decor & The Ambiance were amazing, it really fits the area. Had a tiny problem with our table at first , but the issue was resolved quickly pretty much, thanks to the receptionist. The whole team were very attentive to detail , which we greatly appreciated. The Food was also on point, nothing bad to say in this sector. Our Server, Jason, was absolute wonder, to you dear friend, once again , you were absolutely great . To the Bivouac Team , you all were! Looking forward to another dinner! Thank you.
It was a delightful night to dine outside. Weather & food were perfect !
Beautiful place & great food, unfortunately every time i've gone the service is very slow, & for the price you'd expect it to be bette
The two things ordered were both disappointing. The beef was not to the expectation of taste & was cold when we got it. The Cornish hen arrived at room temperature. Service was also disappointing. We had a new waiter & he was not attentive. We had to flag him down for water & condiments. Unfortunately he was not visible often so it was a bit challenging to get service. I gathered it was a slow night but he didn't receive any guidance. I've eaten at many Hilton restaurants, but unfortunately this one was not a top one. I recommend the view, but not the service or food.
Soyez patient !
The ambiance is lovely. However, the food was very disappointing. The scallop entrée was good but the main course, especially the rabbit seriously reminded me or airplane food & not in a good way. The rabbit itself was flavorless & overcooked while the potatoes were just bad & came with two sad unseasoned steamed broccolis. If you had told me it came out of a microwave I would have believed you. I wouldn't write this review but it markets itself as a high end restaurant with prices to match. The service is good but the food needs some serious work.
First but not last time, excellent experience before our show at place des arts.
