Downtown Montreal is home to a brand new occupant, and we’re here to have a good time. A social lounge, an artisan bar and a modern bistro, Bivouac provides an urban and boreal gastronomic experience to all who pass through its doors.

Here, the objective is simple: to introduce guests to a whole new world of tastes and sensations. Taking advantage of the best that the Quebec region and its artisans have to offer.

Bivouac is where guests can get away from the chaos of city life to explore, share and enjoy the quintessence of our nature, all during a meal.

Located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on the 6th floor of Complexe Desjardins.
In summer, the Bivouac Terrace offers a breathtaking view of the city and is perfectly located to enjoy the lively Place des Festivals. In winter, the Refuges du Bivouac offer to set up a camp for an evening under a beautifully decorated and heated dome that can accommodate up to 10 people, in the heart of the entertainment district.

Delicieux! Mals difficulte au niveau du service...Mauvais dessert recu, pas eu de café, on a du canceler nos hot shots comme ils n'Arrivaient pas. Nous avions demandé un trou normand & l'avons recu durant le souper....
Sinon serveur sympathique & bouffe délicieuse!

Les cocktails sont vraiment bon.Certains repas était bon.Nous avons commandé des entrées pour deux puisque le serveur nous avait dit qu'on pouvait les partager mais les portions sont trop petites & même le repas avait une petites portions.Si vous avez de l'appétit il faut commander l'entrée & le dessert seul.

Superbe restaurant avec vu sur le place publique devant la Place des Arts que nous avons visité dans le cadre de la promotion Table M. Service attentionné mais menu inégal. En entrée excellent Tatami de cerf avec salade quenouilles & baies d'argousier, & rouleau croustillant au canard, Bon matin. On a essayé le restaurant Cannellonis aux champignons gratinés avec fromage québécois. Très bon, mais mince pour un plat principal, devrait se retrouver en entrée. Finalement le dessert était décevant. Un S'Mores déconstruit sorti du frigo. Biscuit du dessert très dur & difficile à couper à la cuillère sans que les morceaux violents dans l'assiette, la ganache au chocolat délicieuse mais froide, donc dure plutôt qu'onctueuse & ne libérait pas bien ses saveurs. La guimauve qui devrait être tendre & fraîchement caramélisé était aussi froide & manquait de tendreté accompagnè d'une crème fouettée aromatisée au Whisky CrownRoyal . Un whisky canadien verts, mais ça n'a rien à voir dans un menu de découvertes de saveurs nordiques. 160$ mal dépensés. Le menu est à revoi

On a très bien mangé avec le menu MTL à table. Seul le dessert laissait à désirer, & en plus il y'avait un surplus pour celui-ci, mais le service était super & tout le reste était délicieux. Avec vue sur le coucher de soleil & la place des festivals en prime. Chaude recommandation pour ce nouveau venu à Montréal.

Food is incredible (only the desserts were not that awesome), it is one of the best restaurants I've tried in Montreal. The cocktails are also good (recommend the Festival one) & the service is great. Will definitely come back!

great spot, great view, great drinks
appetizers & mains were delicious.
dessert was ok
staff was very nice
music was good for the most part but there were some songs that didn't quite fit the vibe (levels by avicii? cmon man)
