Downtown Montreal is home to a brand new occupant, and we’re here to have a good time. A social lounge, an artisan bar and a modern bistro, Bivouac provides an urban and boreal gastronomic experience to all who pass through its doors.

Here, the objective is simple: to introduce guests to a whole new world of tastes and sensations. Taking advantage of the best that the Quebec region and its artisans have to offer.

Bivouac is where guests can get away from the chaos of city life to explore, share and enjoy the quintessence of our nature, all during a meal.

Located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on the 6th floor of Complexe Desjardins.
In summer, the Bivouac Terrace offers a breathtaking view of the city and is perfectly located to enjoy the lively Place des Festivals. In winter, the Refuges du Bivouac offer to set up a camp for an evening under a beautifully decorated and heated dome that can accommodate up to 10 people, in the heart of the entertainment district.

Tres beau restaurant, concept très intéressant avec énormément de produits du Québec très bien travaillés mais qq détails énervants comme l'entrée qui nous arrive alors qu'on a reçu les (excellents) cocktails apéritifs moins de 2 minutes avant, un serveur qui passe sa soirée avec son masque sur le menton, les 20 minutes entre le moment où on enlève les assiettes de l'entrée & celui où nous arrivent les plats de résistance & cette décision que parce qu'une personne à la table prend un cocktail sans alcool, il n'est pas nécessaire de demander si l'autre voudrait avoir du vin avec ses plats .. nous avons aimé notre soirée mais pas assez pour que cette adresse s'ajoute à nos resto récurrents

Superbe restaurant belle ambiance! Classique chic , the vue is incredible , cocktails are great.
The food is well selected, but the chef like to put lime every where 😅😂 very pronounced! - 🌟

Ambiance, decor, cocktails & food - all great. However, I was expecting the level of service to have been much better than it was, for a restaurant of this caliber.
We waited for awhile for our server to attend to us & check in to see if there was anything we needed throughout our dining experience.
Though everything else was great, my disappointment with the service is what would dissuade me from coming back.

Les cocktails sont vraiment bon.Certains repas était bon.Nous avons commandé des entrées pour deux puisque le serveur nous avait dit qu'on pouvait les partager mais les portions sont trop petites & même le repas avait une petites portions.Si vous avez de l'appétit il faut commander l'entrée & le dessert seul.

Quelle belle découverte culinaire grâce à Montréal à table. Au coeur du centre-ville. Employés courtois & chaleureux. Mention toute spéciale à notre serveur Maxime, hors pair !

Au Bivouac, nous sommes aux petits soins de A à Z. Respect & souci de mes allergies comme rarement ailleurs de la part de toute l'équipe. Je recommande sans hésiter autant pour un cocktail sur la terrasse que la gastronomie & son approvisionnement local à l'échelle du Québec. Gastronomie boréale dans certains plats. Décor chic & feutré avec vue imprenable sur la Place des Arts. Bravo à toute l'équipe & bonne continuité !

Food is incredible (only the desserts were not that awesome), it is one of the best restaurants I've tried in Montreal. The cocktails are also good (recommend the Festival one) & the service is great. Will definitely come back!

Expérience géniale ! Nous sommes venus pour la fête de mon conjoint & avons été super bien reçus ! Du cocktail sur la terrasse jusqu'au repas divin servi en intérieur avec une magnifique vue de le quartier des Spectacles ! Ils ont eu une belle attention avec bougie pour l'occasion. La gentillesse de notre serveur & son équipe est à souligner. On recommande & on reviendra !

Great drinks, food, & atmosphere. Highly recommend their signature le Festival cocktail. One point of improvement is music choice, getting a curated playlist to accompany the great terasse vibes will be so much better than playing radio pop music. Overall great experience though, staff service was great.
