This is a place to go if you want good (slightly unusual) food & excellent service. I dined solo & I chose to have a pasta course & a meat course… & I was too full to have dessert. The lamb gnocchi was good. The beef filet & Caesar course wasn't my favorite… there was too much sauce going on or somehow combined the ingredients just tasted like mustard. Lettuce soaked with mustard. Whatever they are doing is drowning the taste of the lettuce. Their bread & petit fours were excellent. Amouse bouche of rice & peas was not much flavor. The wine was excellent. I would pass this restaurant recommendation on to friends who are coming to Venice. It's a good experience overall.

Stupenda scoperta a Venezia (Rialto).
Siamo arrivati in grande ritardo ma nonostante questo ci hanno tenuto il tavolo e sono stati super gentili.
La cucina è davvero molto buona e di alta qualità.
I migliori spaghetti al nero di seppia che io abbia mangiato nella mia vita, cremosi, saporiti e qualità della pasta in sè top.
Buonissimo anche l'antipasto di pesce (i'chicchetti').
Super invitante la carta dei dolci e fra tutti i dessert della tradizione veneziana. Io ho preso un dolce a base di riso servito con gelato.
Servizio gentile elegante e non affettato.

What an experience. Omg very special evening. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff very attentive & knowledgeable. We sat outside, the setting was so beautiful. We had a cocktail each to start, again very different & lovely. The bread was very unique & gorgeous, from look to taste. My husband had a pasta starter, I had a taste, I've never had something soooo good. My husband had the lamb & said it was amazing, pink & no blood, soft & juicy. I had calves liver, so soft & the flavours were wild. The wine list is bigger than the bible🤣 A very enjoyable evening. Thank you very much.

Recommended by our hotel & was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed an outdoor table. My wife had the squid in pasta, I had the umbrine, both were delicious. The sommelier picked an amazing wine that pair perfect with both. The service was outstanding. & the tiramisu can only be described as being like a religious experience, it's a must have of you go there.

Buongiorno, da un posto come il vostro non mi sarei mai sognato di mangiare una pasta scotta, per niente al dente , allucinante, le basi della cucina.
In più il suddetto piatto costa 36 euro….
Se volete far pagare così, la qualità deve essere buona, non un americanata….

Ho ordinato pasta italiana ed era deliziosa, cotta alla perfezione con un sugo saporito ma non pesante. Il piatto è arrivato caldo e in porzioni generose. Il servizio è stato eccellente, cordiale e attento in ogni momento, ma non invadente. L'atmosfera è piacevole e accogliente, ideale per sedersi a mangiare con calma e chiacchierare tranquillamente. Tutto è filato liscio, senza lunghe attese o fretta. Non è un posto dove andare di fretta, ma piuttosto dove godersi il pasto con calma. Sono uscito soddisfatto e con una buona sensazione; è uno di quei posti che ti soddisfa quando hai voglia di pasta fatta in casa.

We had lunch here & it was excellent from start to finish. The squid ink pasta was the highlight-rich, perfectly cooked, & full of flavor, paired beautifully.

Service was attentive & professional, & the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely lunch in Venice. Highly recommended.

We booked in advance a day early which was a delightful surprise to actually get a table.
Someone had booked under the same name but this was quickly rectified & we were placed in a comfortable table straight away.
I wanted to experience fine dining from Venice & I wasn't disappointed with selecting Bistrot de Venice. The staff were extremely attentive & each meal was explained to my wife & I with great detail. The restaurant decor was magnificent to study as we waited for each of our meals.
The wine that was matched by the staff complimented each dish extremely well. I felt warm & very relaxed eating here.
My clam pasta was my favourite meal of the evening. I tried to savour every bite. I don't think I can eat clam pasta anywhere else ever again knowing I've found perfection.
Each meal that left the kitchen & passed into the restaurant Brought such wonderful aromas.
I could write on for days how fantastic it was but you'll just have to try it for yourself. Highly recommend.
