We chose the tasting menu with wine pairing & loved every moment. Each course was beautifully executed, creative yet balanced, & the wines complemented the dishes perfectly. Service was warm, knowledgeable, & attentive without being intrusive. An elegant, memorable dining experience & a true highlight of our time in Venice. Thank you!

Ogni portata era eseguita in modo impeccabile, creativa ma equilibrata, e i vini accompagnavano perfettamente i piatti. Il servizio è stato caloroso, competente e attento senza mai essere invadente. Un'esperienza gastronomica elegante e memorabile, uno dei momenti più belli del nostro soggiorno a Venezia. Grazie!

Outstanding evening! Our waiter, Rinto, was knowledgeable & polite. Our two main dishes were simply delicious, & the dessert was like nothing we had tasted before. All the excellent food was accompanied by a complimentary soup at the start & chocolate at the end. The value was very good, given that this is a very fine dining restaurant with delicious meals & lovely atmosphere.
They don't have real Michelin star (just recommendation from Michelin). We took 4 dishes tasting menu . Eel was terrible , bunch of bones inside, tasted bad, presentation was very nice , i wish taste would be the same. Shrimps with onions were not very good as well. Only pasta & ravioli were delicious. Didn't even finish half of our dishes. desserts looked cheap & tasted the same. Inside the restaurant smelled like in the basement, that's because it's located under the ground i guess. Service was good , no complaints, but it's a restaurant & it's expensive restaurant, so i think the food is not worth those money . Paid 330 euros for 2 people. NOT RECOMMENDED. thanks

Do not go here unless you're prepared to be judged & dismissed based on appearances or perceived status. From the moment we sat down, we felt unwelcome.
When we politely asked the waiter for a recommendation between two dishes, he refused to answer - not with a smile or a joke, but with a cold, condescending tone, as if we were wasting his time. The entire interaction was uncomfortable, & it was clear we were being profiled & treated differently than other guests.
Food in Venice is everywhere - spend your money at a place where hospitality still means something.
We would like to thank the team at Bistrot de Venise for the unforgettable experience they gave us on August 12, 2025. The menu, the dishes, & the service were all perfect. We have been to many very good fine dining restaurants, but this was perhaps the best experience we have had so far. Each of the dishes in the romantic lunch menu was exceptionally delicious, beautifully presented & harmonious in flavor, but for me, it was perhaps the Raffioli de herbe...vantazati that made me say it was the best dish I had ever had in my life. When I asked my wife how she liked the romantic lunch, she replied,'I felt like a queen.' I think that says it all. Thank you again for everything:

Very cool recipes, traditional Venetian cuisine with a twist. Excellent wine selection. The service was impeccable. Can't wait to go back an try more dishes.
We stopped by for lunch - chose the restaurant in advance after looking through the menu, which stood out with its interesting & refined dishes. We were looking for something beyond the usual tourist fare, & it definitely delivered.
The food was excellent: well-balanced, flavorful, & thoughtfully presented. Portions weren't large, but everything felt deliberate & well-composed - you can tell there's real attention to detail.
Special thanks to the staff. Service was polite, attentive, & never overbearing. A particular mention goes to Fabio & Giuseppe - both were incredibly kind & made the atmosphere warm & relaxed.
A great spot if you're looking for a calm, high-quality lunch in the heart of Venice, with a focus on flavor & care.

Very good, quite expensive but definitely worth the money. Great service, amazing food. My favorite dishes were the squid tartare, the umbrine & the creme brûlée
This place made me feel like I ate at my grandma's table. We started with a fantastic spritz & dug into the pasta for our first course. The squid ink pasta & the goose ragout pasta were perfection on my palate. I would certainly recommend trying the squid dishes at this place. The sommelier was very helpful & guided us well on our wine selection. All in all a lovely dinner & must visit in Venice.
My family of 6 enjoyed Bistro de Venice for lunch. The food & wine were wonderful & the service was excellent. We did not have reservations, so I was very pleased that they were able to fit us in. I do however recommend getting reservations. I didn't take many pics, but all of us loved our dishes.
One of the best restaurants we dined at in Venice. The service was truly amazing. They made a mistake on my order but they owned up to it, apologized & offered to change it for me right away. I insisted it was fine & decided to keep the order & it was absolutely delicious. They handle the situation in a very professional manner . Everyone from the host to the waiter to the manager was polite & attentive. They even explained each dish for us along with some background & history behind it. Each dishes was a piece of art. They were a marvel to look at - we didn't want to eat it but glad we did because it was as delicious as it was to behold!

Like stepping back in time. Great cozy atmosphere combined with flavour rich dishes & an excellent wine list. You will enjoy traditional menu executed with utmost perfection.
Best place ever!!! The dishes its like never tasted before everything served the best way it can be. Very tasty smells great kind stuff it was great time spend at that restaurant. Very very Recomended please to visit in venizia.
Big let down. The food was excellent quality however the flavours just did not blend well in most dishes. It was a fine dining experience in terms of service. Yet the atmosphere was almost as bland as the food.
A truly authentic dining experience blending history & new age cooking into unique dishes. Their Tuna tartare special is a must get! Their award winning Risotto is worth the try, it may sound like a lot at first but it all comes together to make a great dish. Service here was also great with friendly & informative waiters. The outside ambiance is very chill & we had a good amount of space.
Delicious evening meal. Staff were lovely & very accommodating. The only side note is one of our dishes that had anchoves was very salty however, they did offer to provide something different & took our feedback.
