Service was excellent, when we entered we were thankful for the A/C. As we waited for our seat we had nice small talk with the friendly & inviting bartender. After sitting there were 2 servers helping us both very informed about everything on the menu. One gentleman that said he is a full blooded Venetian told us many interesting pieces of information about the dishes & wine. They all had a very inviting nature to them. Woman's bathroom had complimentary toiletries.
Now for the food, we had a lovely bottle of wine. The Chianti 22 I believe. Was recommended to me after I said I like a dry wine with tannins but crisp & it was exactly that & more!
Creamed cod was very light, ravioli was flavorful & unique the almonds were a touch I wasn't sure of but the dish thrives with it.
For the linguine. We are typically not red sauce fans because they can we sweet but the hot oil it comes with balances it out nicely.
The only reason the food Isn't 5 stars is because of the servings & price ratio.
Siamo capitati in questo ristorante quasi per caso durante una passeggiata a Venezia, attirati dal desiderio di provare una cacio e pepe fatta a regola d'arte. Eravamo già piuttosto sazi dopo una giornata trascorsa a mangiare in giro, quindi abbiamo optato per dividere un unico piatto.
L'esperienza culinaria è stata assolutamente positiva: la qualità del cibo era ottima e il servizio del cameriere che ci ha seguiti è stato eccellente. Si è dimostrato estremamente cordiale, preparato e professionale, in linea con l'offerta di un ristorante che si presenta come gourmet.
Purtroppo, la serata è stata macchiata da un episodio conclusivo decisamente spiacevole. Al momento di richiedere la fattura per un conto di 22 €, il signore addetto alla cassa/gestione si è avvicinato commentando in modo sprezzante:'Per 20 € volete una fattura?'. Ha continuato a esprimere questo giudizio inopportuno mentre si allontanava per prendere il materiale necessario, commentando la nostra richiesta anche con il resto del personale.
Troviamo assurdo che in un locale che punta a un alto livello di servizio ci si permetta di giudicare o deridere le scelte legittime di un cliente. È un comportamento poco professionale e irrispettoso che stride profondamente con la cortesia dimostrata dal resto dello staff. Peccato, perché un'ottima cena è stata rovinata da una caduta di stile gratuita e inaccettabile.

Our dining experience in Venice was absolutely unforgettable! The food was exceptional-every dish was fresh, authentic, & beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was warm & welcoming, making it the perfect place to enjoy an incredible meal.
What truly made our visit outstanding was the exceptional service from Dara & Alvise. They were attentive, friendly, & went above & beyond to make us feel welcome. Their recommendations were excellent, & their genuine hospitality made our evening even more special.
If you're visiting Venice, this restaurant is a must-visit. Delicious food, outstanding service, & an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to come back. Highly recommended!
After proposing to my fiancée in Venice, I brought her to Bistrot de Venise for our celebration dinner, & it was the perfect choice for such a special evening. The atmosphere was elegant, romantic & refined, with a real sense of history & character. The tasting menu was genuinely excellent, well-balanced & memorable from start to finish. Service was attentive & professional without feeling overwhelming. A beautiful restaurant for a meaningful dinner in Venice; I would gladly recommend it for a special occasion.
This was an absolutely phenomenal restaurant & the best meal we had in Venice. Also, a very wonderful experience, with a beautiful interior & attentive service from Dara. Many locals told it's their favorite restaurant / best place to eat, so it's not all tourists.
Perfect dinner, amazing food Davide was our server, he us also a sommelier, the wine pairings were fabulous. My wife is vegetarian & gluten free, they went out of the way to make her experience Perfect. A must try if you are in Venice. Their wine cellar is very deep with a lot if choice.
Eccellente ristorante in una zona centralissima. Sicuramente un ristorante di lusso con un servizio adeguato. Il menù offre ampia scelta ed i piatti sono presentati in modo elegante e moderno. I prezzi risultano adeguati al luogo, eccezion fatta per i vini (abbiamo guardato le bollicine): qui abbiamo trovato i prezzi a dir poco esagerati ed incomprensibili. È l'unico appunto che ci sentiamo di fare. Per tutto il resto è stata una cena eccellente.
