This is one of the finest restaurants I have ever dined at. We enjoyed the 4 course option which included the sweet & sour prawns with spiced onions & the sturgeon marinated in mull wine. Both were exquisite. These appetizers were followed by Durum Wheat Pasta & Scampi with a heavenly chili pepper oil & the Homemade Bronze Drawn Spaghettoni with butter & anchovy cream. Al dente superbness. The third course was Orange & Rosemary flavored Lamb & Duck Breast'Pervada', both entrees sous vied, then baked to tender perfection. The encore desserts were the best Tiramisu & Crème Brûlée either of us had ever experienced. The evening was capped off with a sit down visit by the owner. He explained their 30 year quest to find & reproduce ancient 13th & 14th century Venetian recipes. This is a humble family, dedicated to their craft. We will return to Bistrot de Venise every time we return to Venice.
I can't say enough good things about Bistrot de Venise. My fiancée & I had gotten engaged mere hours before our reservation & I scheduled the "romance" package for dinner. It came with its own special menu, an exclusive red tablecloth, a rose, two glasses of prosecco, 5 courses, & a special heart pastry, personalized with a congratulatory message. The food was fantastic & is certainly worthy of a Michelin star, especially the scallop risotto. This dish was incredible, & the heat of the food caused some of the thinly sliced ingredients to react & "come to life". It was one of the cooler things I have seen. At many highly rated spots, while the food may be good, the portions are lacking. That was not the case here. We felt full by the end of it & very, very satisfied. The sommellier helped us pair our wine perfectly & the waiter was absolutely wonderful, not snobby, but pleasantly delightful. The ambiance & aesthetic of the place is cozy & artistic & very different from other local establishments. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Venice. Seriously, you'll be missing out if you don't. Grazie!

This is definitely a MUST in Venezia. "Bistrot de Venise" is a project (that combines art, people & gastronomy). "Bistrot de Venise" is an atmosphere. "Bistrot de Venise" is a service (I really recommend to be served by DARA... for his passion for food, for his passion for wines, & most importantly for his passion for smiles☺️☀️)
In an otherwise stressful journey to reach Venezia, Signore Paolo welcomed me by "rolling out the red carpet" so to speak! The staff were all equally inviting, cordial & helpful! Grazie mille, Bistrot di Venise! I had quite possibly one of the best times of life!
Great dinner! The food was unbelievable, & the staff & sommelier were so helpful. If you are in Venice & want a memorable dinner, I would recommend Bistrot de Venise. You will not be disappointed.
Dining at Bistrot de Venise was an unforgettable experience. The elegant street setup created a romantic atmosphere, & the service was impeccable. The food was the highlight. The prawns in soar were juicy & flavorful, & the ravioli with herbs was delightful. The lasagna was a nostalgic treat, creamy & beefy like my mother's. The duck was exceptional. The tiramisu was the perfect finish. Despite its Michelin star, the prices were reasonable, & the portions were satisfying. We ordered three appetizers, one first course, two mains, & two desserts. Every dish was a winner. Highly recommended for a top-notch dining experience without breaking the bank.
For our wedding anniversary, we chose Bistrot de Venise, nestled in a charming alleyway off the beaten track. The drink & wine selections were delightful, setting high expectations for the evening.Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to its fine dining promise. Despite the elegant presentation, the food took over 45 minutes to arrive & was cold when it finally did. The service was merely adequate, lacking the attentiveness one expects from a high-end establishment.The menu, predominantly seafood-based, offered only two vegetarian options, which felt limiting. At £300 for the meal, the price felt exorbitant given the overall experience.In summary, while Bistrot de Venise has a lovely setting & an impressive drink selection, the food & service fell short, making it difficult to recommend for special occasions.

Une adresse raffinée, une cuisine savoureuse, un service excellent...& 2 spritz Deluxe & Bistrot de Venise exceptionnels !! Nous y sommes allés 2 fois en 4 jours de visite....& nous reviendrons !!
A divine culinary experience. Bistrot de Venise has a record of multiple years of being Michelin recommended. The atmosphere is traditional - low lighting, warm, soft seating & classical Venetian elements adorning the walls. The service is lovely - the wait staff were attentive, well mannered, & elevated the experience with their tasteful recommendations. The food was beautiful in its presentation & a culinary delight. Each item on the menu has a historical note of mention. The attention to detail was striking, with the visual appeal matched only by its sublime flavour. I would whole heartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an elevated dining experience. Bravo!
Très bon moment au Bistrot de Venise. Service sympathique & impeccable. Plats délicieux : nous conseillons les pâtes à l encre de seiches! Un incontournable ! & délicieux. Pensez à réserver, nous avons eu une table très agréable en nous y prenant à l avance. À faire sans hésiter. & en photo la carte - pardon l encyclopédie 🤪 - des vins !
belle ambiance personnel au top mais hors de prix ....& pas justifié nous avons l'habitude des étoilés mais ce bistrot est hors de prix 2 menus à 100 € 2 Sprit 1 bouteille de vin = 300€ stop

He estado este fin de semana con mi pareja celebrando nuestro aniversario, elegí el menú Menu Bistrot Experience de 7 Platos con maridaje y fue un total acierto, el plan inicial era hacer un lunch pero terminamos en cena por cambios de vuelo y se nos hizo un poco largo y pesado, comenzamos a las 19h y terminamos a las 22:30 ya que entre plato y plato había una larga espera. Para cada plato fue correcto, y el postre fue simplemente perfecto. Lo ideal sería para lunch y súper recomendable. El servicio es exquisito sin pecar en lo demasiado. Lo recomiendo mucho.
Bistrot de Venise provided an experience that far surpassed my expectations for a Michelin-starred meal in Venice. From the moment I arrived, I was entranced by the enchanting ambiance, accentuated by charming street-side tables that perfectly captured the spirit of Venetian elegance.
The food was nothing short of extraordinary. I began my culinary journey with the Prawns in "Saor," an appetizer steeped in historic Venetian cuisine. The prawns were impeccably cooked & beautifully complemented by spiced onions, sultanas, & pine nut milk. The amalgamation of flavors & textures was a delightful sensory experience that left me eagerly awaiting the next course.
For my main dish, I had the "Raw-Cooked" Risotto, a specialty of Bistrot de Venise & a first-place winner at the 8th National Enogastronomic Competition "Pistolto del Sommelier." The risotto was transcendent—infused with fennel, adorned with "cooked-raw" shellfish, & subtly accented by dill essence, licorice, & star anise powder. Each bite was a celebration of culinary artistry, complex yet harmonious in its flavor profile.
What elevated the experience from excellent to exceptional was the attentive & knowledgeable service provided by our waiter. He guided us through the menu with expertise, ensuring that our dining experience was as comfortable as it was memorable.
In summary, Bistrot de Venise offers an unforgettable dining experience that marries culinary innovation with attentive service, all set against the backdrop of Venice's timeless allure. It is, without a doubt, a must-visit for anyone seeking the pinnacle of Venetian cuisine.
