The pizza was thin crust, but still soft, textured & flavourful. The sauce was full bodied & the toppings absolutely brought everything together.

The staff worked beautifully as a team & left us feeling very cared for.

My daughter also gives the experience 100 thumbs up!

Gorgeous restaurant, friendly staff, mid-tier food.

The restaurant & location are the star, & the food is okay at best. Had a caprese pizza that was fairly dry & a gnocchi that's sauce tasted like Primo sauce out of a can (which I couldn't stomach to finish).

Everyone else, out of a party of 8, all found their food to be okay but nowhere near worthy of the hype we heard around the place.

We were served within 15 minutes of dining in for dinner, leading up to peak dinner hours. The restaurant is multiple levels. We were seated on the top floor overlooking the brick pizza oven, which was a perfect view. The food was served hot, & they have a nice variety of Italian cuisine favorites on the menu, as well as some of their own twists on pizzas. The gnocchi was delicious. The marinara sauce was simply average. However, the cocktails were funky & fun, & arguably the best part of the menu. I would highly recommend for fast & attentive service.

Had a lovely experience & lunch, many creative vegan options not as many gluten free options with only the pasta having one option but you can get the quinoa pasta with any sauce option available. Food was warm & filling. Staff was great & accommodating.

Tried this restaurant down in Old Montreal for the first time. Fried calamari was a hit, nice & tender! Prices were pretty steep! Menu was so limited - no spaghetti & no lasagna, considering that it's an Italian restaurant? I had ravioli with rosé sauce - quite filling. But $36 for my boyfriend's salmon plate when it only comes with just carrots & broccoli. Unlikely to return.

Great service & good food. Pizza sauce was a bit sour, but everything else was good.

Dining places can fail with one dish, & that's okay because tasting is subjective, & one customer may not like a particular dish. But failing three dishes deserves at least a review to help the business improve.

The gnocchi: The texture was both lumpy & rubbery, with a very odd aftertaste, & the sauce was too acidic.
The risotto: The rice wasn't fully cooked; it felt raw in the center.
The Margherita pizza: My expectations of a pizza made in an artisan oven are that most of the crust would be well-cooked & only a few portions undercooked, as it's impossible to control perfect heat distribution. But in this case, it was the other way around. Many whitish portions made the diner constantly alternate between crunchy & chewy. But the worst part was that the sauce was the same as the gnocchi: acidic & lacking the right balance for each dish.
The waiter's attentiveness & the decor, on the other hand, were the only notable things about this place. I wish they could improve all those aspects & gain more positive reviews in the future.

Reviewing as a local.

Honestly, I was pleasantly suprised! I'm always weary of restaurants in touristy areas, & I had seen advertisements for this place in the metro a while ago, which to me is a potential red flag.

Regardless, I went to Bevo because I happened to be in the area, very hungry & craving Neapolitan-style pizza & an Aperol spritz.

I ordered the Margherita pizza. What I got was not exactly what I had in mind, but very good nonetheless. I felt the crust was not as chewy as what I'm used to with this style of pizza, but they are veeeery generous with the sauce (which is delicious!). Probably isn't everyone's cup of tea, but for me, I was in heaven! They also have some nice chili oil, which I recommend.

The spritz was honestly perfectly mixed & didn't taste diluted at all. Perfect for a warm day out on the nice terrasse.

After my meal, I just had to have some tiramisu. They do have it, though I'm not sure I can 100% recommend it. The biscotti layers are fine, but the mascarpone cream feels & tastes slightly industrial, like there's some shortening in there. I find it hard to believe those really are homemade. Generous portion, though!

Great service, nothing to say there. My waitress was very nice (& easy on the eyes!)

We stopped by Beva Pizzeria during a day trip to Montréal from Toronto after seeing its solid reviews & reputation as a go-to spot for pizza. It's located in a busy, tourist-friendly area, so we figured it would be a safe, easy lunch option with decent quality. We were also pretty hungry, so pizza felt like the perfect pick.

Our server was friendly & welcoming, & when we asked for recommendations, he suggested their most popular pizza-the Cotto E Bocconcini-along with his personal favourite, the Parma In Bianco. Both came out relatively fast, which was a plus. Service overall was efficient & the atmosphere inside was actually quite nice: bright, warm, & cozy, which gave off a good first impression. The place was also relatively clean & dust free which is a big plus.

Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. Both pizzas were, to be honest, very underwhelming. The Cotto E Bocconcini & the Parma In Bianco were extremely salty, & the cheese used didn't melt properly-it had a rubbery texture & sat on top of the crust in an unappetizing way. The overall flavour was flat, & the crust itself tasted bland & dry, especially around the edges where there was barely any sauce to bring it to life. It all came off tasting like cardboard. There was nothing satisfying or crave-worthy about either pizza, which is disappointing considering this place is literally known as a pizzeria.

We both had a hard time eating them, but since we were starving & didn't want to carry leftovers around for the rest of the day, my boyfriend ended up forcing his down. Unfortunately, he felt sick pretty much right after-which says a lot.

I'm honestly shocked at how highly rated this place is. I understand it's in a tourist-heavy area, & sometimes those spots can ride more on location than food quality, but still-it's surprising how off the mark both pizzas were. We really wanted to like it, especially with the friendly service & inviting atmosphere, but at the end of the day, if the food doesn't hold up, it's hard to justify a return visit. Not worth it for the price, & not something we'll be coming back for.

At a very lively location. Service was great. Food is good, not great. The pizza crust is great but their tomato sauce was missing something. Cocktails are overpriced.

Hands down, one of the best pizzas I've ever had!

First, pizza is heated on wood

Second, The crust is perfectly crispy, the sauce is tangy, & the cheese is melted to perfection. The toppings are fresh & generous, & the staff is friendly & attentive.

Kids friendly (as you can see from the picture), cozy atmosphere, great prices, & exceptional quality.

I will definitely come again & try other stuff on the menu.
If you're a pizza lover like me, this place is a MUST-VISIT!

During my recent culinary stroll through Old Port Montreal, I had the pleasure of dining at a charming spot that delivered a delightful blend of comfort, flavor, & ambiance. Our order consisted of the Arancino, Salame Pizza, Focaccia bread, & two craft cocktails-a well-rounded selection for an evening out.

Let me start with the Arancino-a golden, fried risotto ball nestled in a luscious tomato sauce. This dish is a must-try. The outer crispiness gives way to a creamy, flavorful center that immediately wakes up the palate. The sauce, vibrant & tangy, complements the richness of the risotto perfectly. It's the kind of starter that sets the bar high & leaves you anticipating what's next.

Following this strong start was the Salame Pizza, topped generously with pepperoni. What stood out here was the meticulous attention to detail-the pepperoni was sliced to a consistent, ideal thickness, crisped just right around the edges. The dough struck a perfect balance-thin enough to avoid any heavy, bloated feeling, yet sturdy enough to hold its structure & deliver a satisfying chew. Each bite was harmonious, & the flavor lingered pleasantly on the tongue.

Next came the Focaccia bread. While it may not have been the highlight of the meal, it was certainly enjoyable-lightly crisped on the outside, soft on the inside, & mildly seasoned. It serves as a great accompaniment, though it doesn't steal the spotlight.

Pairing all of this with two well-crafted cocktails elevated the experience. Whether you're a fan of something refreshing or more spirit-forward, the cocktail menu is worth exploring to enhance your meal.

The location deserves its own mention-the restaurant is tucked away in the picturesque Old Port, offering diners a visually pleasing, almost cinematic backdrop. With cobblestone streets, old-world architecture, & a warm breeze from the water, the setting adds a unique charm to the entire dining experience. The staff were equally impressive-welcoming with genuine smiles & attentive throughout the evening, striking the perfect balance between friendliness & professionalism.

If there's one caveat to note, it's that the kitchen can take a bit of time, so I recommend settling in, enjoying the ambiance, & perhaps ordering a drink or two while you wait. The food is worth the patience.

Final verdict: Start with the Arancino, don't skip the Salame Pizza, sip on something crafted behind the bar, & soak in the atmosphere. This spot is a delightful gem in the heart of Old Montreal.

A Wonderful Experience with Great Service

I had a lovely experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, the location was great, & the food was enjoyable. As an experienced chef, I must say the pizza was very good. However, there is some room for improvement in the dough & sauce - I would suggest experimenting with a few variations to find the perfect combination.

Overall, I would rate my experience a solid 5 out of 5. Thank you!

The space is great & the service was good. The calamari appetizer was quite good with a nice tomato pesto for dipping. It was entirely downhill from there. When they say prosciutto in the menu, they mean sliced ham deli meat. When they say crispy, it's not. The pasta & gnocchi dishes our table ordered favoured quantity over quality. The impression was store bought dry pasta & a very basic, minimally flavoured sauce. All in all very mediocre & no where near the Google score that inspired us to try this place. Can't recommend

Food was just ok (at best). Water glasses were dirty on arrival. Appetizer was actually pretty good (beet salad). The main though (gnocchi bolognese) tasted like grocery store gnocchi (& not the better ones honestly) with what seemed like jarred meat sauce. It was very disappointing. Service was fine (friendly staff). Didn't offer Parmesan after the pasta was dropped off & we had to flag someone down. We could have made much better at home with a fraction of the cost & a few keypresses on the microwave. Nice location though!

This is a tourist trap! Our order took a long time to arrive. My wife had the mushroom & truffle risotto, & it was sticky & congealed without any truffle at all. My seafood linguine had very little seafood, the sauce was sweet & tasted like it came from a can. We did not finish our dishes. The said was sweet but super slow.

Such a beautiful restaurant in the heart of Old montreal, they have a huge space that can accommodate big group. We ordered the meatballs & rigatoni. The rigatoni comes with arugula & sausage. I find the pasta super dry & a tad too salty, especially with the added Parmesan cheese, could have used some olive oil. There was little sausage too, my friend ordered the same & they got much more sausages. The meatball on the other hand was amazing, thick, soft, flavorful, & goes well with the tomato sauce. We enjoyed the meatballs & their mojito pitcher very much. The mojito has berries in it which added fruity sense. The service was good, staff was quick & accommodating. However the music was too loud, i had to scream my throat off to have some conversation with my tables. I liked the location & setup of the restaurant. Menu is a bit pricey but it's in old Montreal so.
