Bevo Bar & Pizzeria is a quaint, welcoming spot that's ideal for a relaxed drink in Quebec. The atmosphere is cosy & calm, making it a great place to unwind.
The service was outstanding. We were looked after by Abrah-Jeanne, who was absolutely lovely. She spoke both French & English fluently, made us feel genuinely welcome, & delivered exceptional customer service. She even took the time to write us a list of recommended places to visit in Montreal, which was such a thoughtful touch.
We also tried the arancino balls, which were delicious & freshly made. If you're looking for a chilled drink in a friendly setting with excellent service, Bevo is well worth a visit - & hopefully you'll be served by Abrah too!

We had a wonderful time here. We stopped in on a rainy summer afternoon & were welcomed by very friendly staff. The drinks were amazing, the pizza was delicious, & the bruschetta was outstanding. We truly loved the experience.
What a great dining experience in the heart of Old Montreal on Boxing Day.
From the moment my wife & I walked in we were warmly greeted & sat down at our quaint little table looking out at Montreals historic snow covered street. Rebecca was our waitress & she was wonderful! She was patient & explained the menu perfectly.
The drinks were amazing too. The bartender was making holiday specialty drinks that were inventive & delicious.
The food was amazing. The pizza & the spinach stuffed ravioli in pesto were spot on for this Sicilian.
Highly recommend this restaurant for a great dining experience in one of the great cities of the world.
First time visit without reservation. Looking for an climate air restaurant. It was so fine to walk in. Upstairs we asked for a place close to the window & the nice serving lady said to just wait a moment & was going to help us after her client. We got our places & cold water served directly. We ask some advice & finally we had nice spritz drinks & amazing pizza. We looked amazed for the 3 guys working smoothly preparing the orders for the clients. Skilled & with love they created amazing dishes. The service was excellent with a big smile & she made sure our stay was impeccable. Sure we will come back.
Bevo Bar + Pizzeria is exactly what you'd expect from a well-located Old Montreal spot: a tourist trap with a pretty patio, decent branding, & underwhelming execution. Let's start with the food-mediocre at best. The pizza was fine, but nothing memorable, & the pasta lacked depth or authenticity. If you're coming here expecting a real taste of Italian cuisine, prepare to be disappointed. This is a step up from Boston Pizza, sure, but authentic Italian? Not even close.
The atmosphere is loud, bordering on chaotic. It's not the lively'bustling trattoria' kind of vibe-it's just noisy, which makes conversation a challenge. Service was adequate, but certainly not exceptional. Our server was polite but rushed, & it felt like they were just trying to turn the table as fast as possible.
This place thrives on foot traffic & Instagrammable aesthetics, not on culinary merit. That said, if you're a tourist looking for a drink & a bite in a busy part of town, & you know exactly what you're walking into, you'll be fine. Just temper your expectations-this isn't a hidden gem or an authentic Italian eatery. It's a place to grab an overpriced pizza & say you went. Nothing more.
Yanny was an amazing host, made the best recommendations for good & drinks & went above & beyond & make our experience memorable. Excellent pizza & service!
During my recent culinary stroll through Old Port Montreal, I had the pleasure of dining at a charming spot that delivered a delightful blend of comfort, flavor, & ambiance. Our order consisted of the Arancino, Salame Pizza, Focaccia bread, & two craft cocktails-a well-rounded selection for an evening out.
Let me start with the Arancino-a golden, fried risotto ball nestled in a luscious tomato sauce. This dish is a must-try. The outer crispiness gives way to a creamy, flavorful center that immediately wakes up the palate. The sauce, vibrant & tangy, complements the richness of the risotto perfectly. It's the kind of starter that sets the bar high & leaves you anticipating what's next.
Following this strong start was the Salame Pizza, topped generously with pepperoni. What stood out here was the meticulous attention to detail-the pepperoni was sliced to a consistent, ideal thickness, crisped just right around the edges. The dough struck a perfect balance-thin enough to avoid any heavy, bloated feeling, yet sturdy enough to hold its structure & deliver a satisfying chew. Each bite was harmonious, & the flavor lingered pleasantly on the tongue.
Next came the Focaccia bread. While it may not have been the highlight of the meal, it was certainly enjoyable-lightly crisped on the outside, soft on the inside, & mildly seasoned. It serves as a great accompaniment, though it doesn't steal the spotlight.
Pairing all of this with two well-crafted cocktails elevated the experience. Whether you're a fan of something refreshing or more spirit-forward, the cocktail menu is worth exploring to enhance your meal.
The location deserves its own mention-the restaurant is tucked away in the picturesque Old Port, offering diners a visually pleasing, almost cinematic backdrop. With cobblestone streets, old-world architecture, & a warm breeze from the water, the setting adds a unique charm to the entire dining experience. The staff were equally impressive-welcoming with genuine smiles & attentive throughout the evening, striking the perfect balance between friendliness & professionalism.
If there's one caveat to note, it's that the kitchen can take a bit of time, so I recommend settling in, enjoying the ambiance, & perhaps ordering a drink or two while you wait. The food is worth the patience.
Final verdict: Start with the Arancino, don't skip the Salame Pizza, sip on something crafted behind the bar, & soak in the atmosphere. This spot is a delightful gem in the heart of Old Montreal.

Last night we have been to a Pizza making experience at Bevo's in Montreal's Old Port.
We had reserved our experience online & prepaid everything(including tip)
From the star, the young lady greeting us at the door was very pleasant.
(I hope I'm getting the names right)
We then had the pleasure to have Yanni as a waiter who took great care of us. Very nice, no rush, eager to please.
We were served
2 Giant meatballs:delicious
1 dish to share Rosée noodles: delicious
1 dish of olives(too salty) & different vegetables with something resembling melba toasts: my husband ate some, I didn't like it. Maybe it's an acquired taste.
Then we met the Chef Giovanni, very very nice & patient. Lovingly sharing his knowledge & love of making pizza.
We actually learned a lot.
We each made our own pizza the way we like it by choosing our own toppings & going ourselves being the counter & building our own pizza.
The cook then puts it in the stone oven an they then serve to us:Delicious
They top it off with a beautiful Nutella pizza: Delicious
The package included a glass of wine or drink.
We were also given a beautiful Bevo apron to take home:We liked that
I would highly recommend the whole experience, we both had great food & a great experience!
I had a fabulous experience here with my fiancé & a friend for a casual dinner! Our server Christine was delightful & all the staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring our glasses never went empty! The food was quite tasty but the overall atmosphere was what I liked best. The only downside was a truly *screaming* group of children that the staff seemed unwilling or not allowed to request that the parents get control of, which really put a damper on the first chunk of the evening. This is a nice restaurant where you can easily spend $100/person if you do drinks, apps, etc., so I don't find it appropriate in the slightest to allow young kids to literally launch themselves down the stairs & bellow at the tops of their lungs. But we were put at a quieter table to try & compensate & the overall service made it an excellent experience nonetheless!
The overall experience at Bevo's was amazing, food & drinks were great. On weekdays it was even possible to come with a larger party of 10. Truffle & burrata pizza is definitely a recommendation.
The atmosphere is nice, the service is good but the food is not that much! We were 2 adults & five children so we had to pay 300$ with one meal each & no drink! I find it expensive for this quality of food.
