Made a booking that wasn't seen by the staff. When we arrived we were told no children inside, so we had to sit on the terrace. Luckily it was an unseasonably warm October afternoon.
They didn't have any of the food or drink options we ordered available, despite not being told this when supplied with the menu. What we ended up having was nice, & pretty affordable. Wouldn't return due to the child policy!

A wonderful end to locked-down terraces! Tables & screens well set up & no one seemed to mind that it was a bit chilly outside. It was just so nice to be able to sit with other people & feel a beginning to normal living. Dinner was great - gorgeous baguette with sausage. Well cone!
I've been going for years. Very good beer, decent selection of snacks.
I like the decor...it's intimate but very open at the same time.
They have a terrace in the summer.
The service is AWFUL though. They're slow, I've been overcharged, some staff are unpleasant (but not all). Still, I keep going back for the beer.
It's actually a decent place for a first date - more upscale than a pub(& has better beer) but still casual. They have great beer & alright coffee, snacks. Nice little nooks to sit & talk.
