Benelux Brasserie Artisanale comes across in reviews as a go-to craft beer spot in Montreal, offering a warm, cozy atmosphere that invites relaxing and unwinding with quality pours. The beer list gets high praise, with notes on Echinopsis being smooth and flavorful and Grande Armada Réserve described as legendary, while the overall selection is interesting even if not the absolute top tier; the vibe ranges from student-friendly, lively and music-filled to quiet and convivial, with outdoor spaces highlighted in good weather. Service is frequently described as attentive and welcoming, though a few visits note hiccups with ordering or seating, and some interactions at busy times highlight the importance of staff professionalism. Food is described as simple but satisfying, with pretzels or bar snacks being dependable, while some reviews mention lack of kitchen options or limited menu on certain visits. Overall, the place is praised for the atmosphere, the beer quality and the bar experience, making it a recommended stop for beer lovers in the area.
We loved the beer here! Great selection, extreme helpful & friendly staff. Relaxed & comfortable atmosphere. We liked it so much we went both days of our trip! Yummy pretzel, too!

After a long walk through downtown Montréal, this place is exactly what you need to recharge. The atmosphere is super cool & cozy-perfect for relaxing & unwinding with a cold, high-quality beer.
The beer we had (Echinopsis) was incredibly smooth & very delicious-easy to drink & full of great flavor.
A special thanks to Lou, who was extremely kind & helpful. They really made our day & added to the whole experience.
Highly recommend stopping by if you're exploring the city & want a proper craft beer break!
The atmosphere was warm & friendly, & the beer was very delicious. If you're a fan of IPA, you should definitely try Echinopsis - it was one of the tastiest IPAs I've ever had. Lou also kindly helped us choose our beers with a very welcoming attitude.
Best beer in Montreal by a wide margin, & that's saying something given the abundance of great beer on this island. The Grande Armada Réserve, if available, is a must: it's a legendary brew that connaisseurs reverently whisper about at beer festivals across the province.

Good selection of craft beers. Not in the upper tier of the best craft breweries I went to in Mtl, but good late night spot for a bite & a beer. Solid bretzels.
I want to clarify a recent negative review regarding Melody. I was present & witnessed the entire interaction. The customer in question was disrespectful from the start, refused to tip, & was looking for an issue where there wasn't one. Melody handled the situation with professionalism, patience, & grace.
We've been coming to Benelux during the busy holiday season-two days before Christmas-& Melody has consistently provided exceptional service. She's attentive, welcoming, & truly phenomenal at what she does. The atmosphere, drinks, & service have been excellent.
Melody is hands down one of the best bartenders I've encountered. If you're coming to Benelux, make sure you sit at the bar & ask for Melody-you won't be disappointed.

Nice brewery with an old, cozy rustic vibe & really friendly service. The open hours are one of its best features. Definitely try their 🥨 It's worth it. They don't serve fries or any other kitchen food. The beer selection isn't exceptional, but it's still quite good.
Made a booking that wasn't seen by the staff. When we arrived we were told no children inside, so we had to sit on the terrace. Luckily it was an unseasonably warm October afternoon.
They didn't have any of the food or drink options we ordered available, despite not being told this when supplied with the menu. What we ended up having was nice, & pretty affordable. Wouldn't return due to the child policy!

Excellent place to grab beer with great options! I got the stout which was really good. The service was very courteous, highly recommend this place for beer!
A lovely brasserie near Place Des Arts. Great beer, good music & a cool outdoor space to enjoy when weather permits. I was here on two different occasions. The first night a random wave of about 15 rookie beer drinkers arrived & made life hell for the bartender right before I walked in the door. The second night everything was super chill. Highly recommended place to drink beer before or after a visit to the Place Des Arts. Merci Montreal!
